As well as using iDrive for remote access of my data when I'm on another device on the go, I have fully retrieved my data when a device failed (PC and laptop), without the need to get a tech to pull the data out for me.

Sometimes the navigation in cloud drive folders gets stuck and you need to reload the page, but that's no big deal.

Good solution for large backups if upload speed isn't an issue (and if you don't mind the slightly clunky interface).

The upload speed was great. Where Crashplan took a few months to upload everything (4TB), iDrive did it in less than a week.

Linux support contains of a collection of scripts that a server admin can run to login. After that is done, the iDrive online portal allows you to select what to back up (and setting schedules).

I would love to see their main website info pages pared down and clarified - I had a heck of a time figuring out what exactly they offered and how it worked.

I would like to see what iDrive is backing up real-time; which file is being backed up now, which ones are in the queue.

Despite being advertised as compatible with Raspberry Pi, the install instructions did not work for me.
