Medical Cloud is an online solution for saving, synchronizing and sharing medical documents. Relying on the servers of its partner certified health data host (HDS) by the HAS and certified ISO 27001, the health data remains physically in France.

Stored items can be accessed from anywhere via a simple web browser without any installation. Connection to the service is done via a secure HTTPS and TLS channel with double authentication: a single-use code is sent by SMS in addition to the login/password for each new connection or any new device added.

To simplify everyday life, MacOS and Windows synchronization software are available to permanently replicate the desired folders in the cloud and on all other devices that also have the synchronization application. Any document edited with one of your devices is instantly synchronized and available on your other devices connected to your account. iOS or Android mobiles and tablets applications allow you to consult and/or edit your documents when you are outside your office.

In addition to saving sensitive medical office data, the solution also allows for easy sharing of documents with colleagues or patients. No more documents transferred by SMS, email attachment, or via unsecured messaging: with Medical Cloud, sharing a photo or another document is extremely simple, shared by a link and secured by a password password, the data remains hosted in the secure cloud. This leaves room for many uses: sharing a photo with a colleague for an opinion, transmitting a prescription to a patient, collaborating with a medical secretary working remotely, etc. It is also possible to create a file where the patient can submit documents to be sent to the healthcare professional.

As the documents are permanently synchronized, unexpected events at the office leading to loss of data become less anxiety-inducing, the data can be recovered in a few minutes (variable duration depending on the volume) for a rapid resumption of activity.

All servers are protected by a PRA (Activity Recovery Plan) and copied every 30 minutes to 2 geographically distant sites allowing services to be resumed within 4 hours in the event of physical destruction of the latter (e.g. fire). The servers are also secured by a redundancy policy and copied twice a day, on 2 geographically distant sites and over 14 consecutive days: this approach helps protect our customers from the consequences of ransomware/ransomware by restoring their data to a state saved before the damage. Finally, all servers feature “Encryption at rest” server-side encryption on all disks in order to reinforce the confidentiality of the data deposited.
