O&O DiskImage overview

What is O&O DiskImage?

O&O DiskImage is not just a file backup tool. While it will do the simplest of backup tasks too (plug&play, copying small files like pictures and MP3s) it extends to system security, network security and business-level data protection:

Clone drives for an immediate 1:1 replica that can be accessed in Explorer.

Make an image of a whole machine nad then save changes going forward. Full cover should it crash or a program defect happens.

Use the Command line to deploy backups.

Get notified about security gaps or present dangers.

Make VHD/VHDX files from the program itself and display them in Explorer.

Make a boot medium from the program itself to kick a dead system into life.

Put backup copy of a PC, desktop or server onto totally new hardware - the program matches them up.

In-place support for the new WIndows 11 - and backups made under older versions of WIndows can still be used.

A data backup must be the foundation of a disaster recovery plan. By backing up devices with O&O DiskImage, users will always be one step ahead of the many cyber threats that might take or damage their data. Aside from cyber attacks such as virus or Ransomware, drives, computers or servers can also simply break or wear out over time. That's what hardware does, so backing up data is a must.

The product can be scheduled too, so that it can be effectively set and forgotten about. Have the program make a copy either daily, weekly, monthly or custom defined. Users can also set it so that only changes made are backed up, which uses less space and takes up less time - meaning users can get on with their work with total peace of mind.

For best practice, O&O recommends:

Backup up regularly - the more time between backups, the more data potentially lost.

Make at least one copy - two would be even better, with at least one being remotely removed from the store location.

Always be cautious - have more storage space than actually needed, just in case.
