It is an extremely helpful tool for me just to know when I can or can't call our employees and see where they have been.

EROAD helped us keep track of driver Hours of Service and monitor their locations for tracking and route planning.

At the time did not offer a full suite of safety and maintenance suites that the competition did so we switched.

The main issue with the company is the communication about their products and contract.   Once you're signed, the care disappears and they will not respond or help in any way!

We've asked where to send the units and we'll just pay out the rest of the contract, and can't get a response.  

We have, several times, had trucks sitting in the yard unable to drive because of lack of support from ERoad.  

They blank out and reset going down the road after a couple of years of use.  

Permanently mounted to the dash, but small in size.  

Something happened within the last 2 years, it seems the have almost completely abandoned their US base of operations.

The software is not bad.   But when it's time to start closing off some devices because the terms are up expect to be completely ignored.  

New reporting system missing items and a lot less user friendly.  

No longer as accurate as it was before the last "upgrade"

We have used it to get back stolen vehicles by assisting the police with vehicle location.

In comparison, EROAD is much easier for the user to understand.   Because the user can easily understand the functionality the problems in the back office went away.  

I don't know how easy it was to install or how much it cost but I use it every day to see where our construction workers were at during their shift.

The pricing can feel a bit high, and sometimes the tracking isn’t perfect and may need small adjustments.

Sometimes you have to manually add your mileage, which is somewhat of a inconvenience.

Honestly the simplicity of using Motus can't be overstated vs the previous methods of having to log each business trip mileage and remember to start and stop my mileage.
