BuildingBlok is a cloud based construction management software designed for small and midsize companies in the construction industry. The software offers document management, bidding management and project management capabilities within a single solution.
The bidding management functionality of the software allows users to create RFI (request for information) requests, share documentation and automate the paperwork and communication for bids. The payment application of the software allows users to send contracts to the subcontractors, build the SOV’s and submit their payments online. Users can also define the approval process for their contract payments before making the payments.
The software offers comprehensive workforce management which allows users to track and monitor labor hours to efficiently calculate labor costs and manage project deadlines. The project management functionality allows the managers to define their flow of work and create task lists to execute and monitor their workflow.
With the help of customized financial reports and dashboards to track job costs and profitability on a real time basis, users gain a complete view of their construction projects and are better equipped in making decisions regarding their construction and workforce management practices.
