Pros

How you have access to so many fantastic features for free, it's amazing how much you can do within Elementor and how beautiful sites made from it can be.
I love elementor as it's very easy to use. It's slick and sharp to use, with great features like copy and paste which makes it a breeze to use elements from other pages.
I started out using Visual Composer because that was the main visual builder that everyone was using. Over time Elementor plugin got better and better and their visual builder got better and better.

Pros

Fabulous HELP LINE with efficient staff and rapid resolution. This is where the real value of your product is.
Now I'm able to build websites in under a week with amazing design. Divi also has various other plugin options that are compatible and that work fabulously on the Divi platform.
If you want to build a WordPress website with a lot of incredible features then Divi is definitely a nice option for you. Because using Divi you can create a stunning and beautiful website.

Cons

Trying to correct formatting errors or other problems is where elementor fails. You have to pay for premium to perform a lot of functions.
I hate how every company now wants you to pay monthly fees, and guess what we do it. I don't know why, but many people are used to this model now, including myself.
Sometimes there are nasty bugs. You have to do that site again.

Cons

What you will dislike about the software is what you will dislike about content management systems in general. You have to play by the system's rules.
Sometimes Divi gives me headache... not always easy to use, a little bit buggy sometimes, page loading can be also bad.
The bloat of the software is unacceptable. The speed impact is dramatic once it is loaded.

The most intutitive wordpress page builder

So far the easiest wordpress page builder I’ve used

Pros

The page builder is super intuittive. It does not take much to learn how to use it to build beautiful pages. Esp love the templates/blocks that we can mix-match-edit.

Cons

unlike it’s competitors like Divi, it does not have a lifetime pricing. It also lack rich ready-made themes In my opinion.

Elementor is great for building websites

Reviewed 4 years ago

Elementor is used in my company to build websites when our clients choose a theme that is based in Elementor.

Pros

What I like most about Elementor is that developers say it is a great tool for building websites, saving templates, and customizing content based on different browsers.

Cons

Personally, I find Elementor a bit difficult to use as compared to WP Bakery Builder or Divi Builder, but that could just be based on experience.

Powerful Page Builder

Reviewed 3 years ago

We have been able to build very complex sites and do advanced design and functionality that was never before possible with other page builders we've used like Divi and Visual Composer.

Pros

Elementor gives you almost complete control over website page design for desktop, tablet and mobile views. With Pro you can even control archive layouts, search, 404, etc.

Cons

It is difficult to list dislikes when it comes to Elementor. But since it gives you so much control, that also means it takes a while to set everything up properly. Also, Elementor gets somewhat of a bad reputation for being heavy and slow. However, our sites are generally very fast. We do host our sites on good managed WordPress hosting and we also sometimes load WP Rocket. But if you build sites efficiently and have a good host, you can easily get load times under a second and A scores on GTMetrix.

The go to Wordpress builder for 2021

Reviewed 3 years ago

Very positive, lots of educational videos exist and it's easy to get to grips with the software.

Pros

The dashboard and tool bar are miles ahead of competing builders. It's clean and easy to use. Also with updates, it never breaks the site.

Cons

Code bloat. Yes it's much smaller than say Divi, but it's still an issue. Also I don't like the new pricing model and lack of a life time deal, everyone else has one.

Elementor

Reviewed 2 years ago

Elementor is a very easy-to-use website builder. It's extremely affordable and meets the scope of most of my web design needs.

Pros

Apart from the divi visual and beaver builders, Elementor is one of my favorite web builders. It's simple to work with and once you are used to working with it, building a website becomes very easy. From the tool's design layouts to practical functionalities; everything works great. I mean, there's no way I will build an entire website without using the Elementor plugin except for the Divi theme. It's easy to use, time-saving and offers a lot of advanced functionalities that simplify the whole development process. I use features like lottier, parallax effects,I can't emphasize enough the importance of using this plugin

Cons

I haven't gotten a way to completely export a full page yet, apart from blocks, I tried to perform this action many times, and there seems to be no way for that.Secondly, the official WP AMP plugin, Elementskit pro, and WP rocket are always in conflict with Elementor pro, especially the WP AMP plugin. I can't explain why but I think developers should look into the situation because when this happens, to keep one plugin running, I need to deactivate the others (which are also important plugins form me)

Overall good I wanna say

Reviewed 3 years ago

Overall I would say it has been a good experience. It is nice and easy and drag and drop which certainly is nice and convenient. It has made things faster for me to do and implement and build upon for me atleast at the point I am at right now. Overall it is good and convenient and nice I feel.

Pros

It’s overall a great, easy, convenient, intuitive, fast, and good product I feel. You can do a lot with it and there is a lot of add ons for it which is nice. Overall a good solid first website builder to use if you are new and don’t know code and want a drag and drop convenient and easy enough to use system I feel.

Cons

I feel maybe my main gripe is the pricing structure I believe it’s like $50 a year and that’s for I wanna say only like 1 website. Which if you look at the competition like specifically divi its like $89 a year or $250 for a lifetime and unlimited websites and so overall divi is by far a better deal I feel especially if you are a web development agency or so. Other then that I am sure there is others but off the top of head. I guess I just don’t have anything right now.

I used the Elementor Free Version and Here Were My Thoughts

Reviewed 3 years ago

Overall, Elementor has great functionality and qualities for their free website builder. It has tons of templates you can use in their blocks which is amazing quality when thinking of the free sticker price.

Pros

So I know Elementor has a paid version, but I haven't tried that yet, so here are my thoughts on the free version. One, it's amazing that such a software like this exists for free. It certainly doesn't have the bells and whistles that the paid versions that are similar to this have, but still...it's free! Onto those free parts that I liked: I liked that Elementor has the ability to drop cap easily, they have tons of templates available for hero images and other blocks, I also like that their decorative dividers have more flair to them than what I was using from the Divi builder.

Cons

I found that the ease of use wasn't as good compared to Divi. I had to use more explainer videos to understand Elementor than with other website builders. I also didn't like that the speed of the site was slower compared with other themes.

Basic but effective page builder

Reviewed 3 years ago

Elementor is a good, basic page builder. It's surprising how much the free plan has to offer. You really don't need any other page builder. However, if you're looking for more customization options and features then you'd probably want to go with something like Divi instead.

Pros

Elementor is pretty easy to use and has a fair amount of design options. The free plan has everything you need to create your website.

Cons

I wish there were more design and customization options. The options are basic and it gets the job done but there are a lot of other page builders that have more features.

Despite reservations, Elementor is my second-favorite page builder for WordPress

Reviewed 5 years ago

To be honest, I was surprised about how much documentation reading I had to do in order to get up to speed with Elementor. Once I did, I still struggled to build simple pages. It's a powerful tool but I'm not fond of the UI choices.

Pros

It's possible to create powerful and beautiful WordPress sites fairly quickly and easily, but there's a learning curve. Pages built with Elementor load faster than pages built with Divi, the page builder/theme I migrated from, if not as fast as pages built with Beaver Builder and Beaver Builder theme. There's no shortcode lockin.

Cons

Text and icons are too light to see in the UI. In fact, I'm not all that pleased with the user experience, in general. Tiny icons, light text, slide-out drawers. It's much easier to get started building pages with Beaver Builder than it is with Elementor. Every page builder has its own approach, of course, and everyone brings their own experiences, but despite the fact I'm not going back to Divi, Elementor has a steeper learning curve than Elegant Themes' offering. The free version of Elementor is OK but to deploy some of the trendier design elements, you'll need to upgrade. This is a harder upsell than Beaver Builder, IMO.

All Time Best Pagebuilder I've Used - My Go To!

Reviewed 6 years ago

I run a small website agency and do all of our website builds. Elementor is my default page builder, unless a build calls for something else, for some reason (say customer prefers Divi, for example). I use it every day, and am very thankful for this awesome product.

Pros

First, the free version of Elementor is awesome. Cost aside, working with Elementor is just a pleasure compared to every pagebuilder I've used (which is most all of the known ones). Super easy, intuitive, and really cuts down on the workflow. There is so much to like about Elementor. Being able to save both pages, and sections as templates really cuts down on website build times.

Cons

The only thing that would be nice, in a perfect world would be a back end editor. If for no other reason than this one scenario: If you position a section too near the top of the page, it can be a challenge to access the top tab of that section that allows access to it. A back end editor wouldn't have this issue, and this does happen frequently, as often you want to but the top section right up against the header.

Building an E-Commerce store? Seriously consider Elementor

Reviewed 3 years ago

Elementor has been a trail-blazer in the WordPress page builder world. Many features came to Elementor first before being copied by other builders. That said, competition is fierce in this space, and the Elementor team continues to work hard to innovate. Is Elementor the best? That depends on your use-case. From experience I contend that Elementor is the best if you're building an e-commerce store with WordPress.

Pros

If you're building an e-commerce store with WordPress, it's smart to consider building with Elementor. As a WordPress page builder, Elementor is streamlined to work with WooCommerce and there are powerful third-party marketplace options to extend your online store's design and functionality. If you need help, there are plenty of online tutorials to guide you.

Cons

Having used Divi extensively before coming to Elementor, I found the interface confusing at first. Features are separated by tabs in the builder, which requires extra clicks to make design choices. That said, once you learn the user-interface, building becomes easy, and there's very few bugs to contend with (unlike other builders).

Elementor

The best full-featured page builder for Wordpress.

Reviewed 5 years ago

Elementor is still the best balance of quality + features. There are a lot of compatible themes and plugins and a lot of 3rd party support. Really only WPBakery and Divi compare in terms of community. It's very easy to look up example videos of how to do things on Youtube or by reading blogs.

Pros

It's very easy to use and works well with other Wordpress themes, including those that aren't specifically made to be compatible with Elementor. For example, I use Elementor with themes by StudioPress and it works great. When you disable Elementor for whatever reason, you're left with a functioning website, not a bunch of brackets and crazy mark up like you get with other popular page builders like Divi and WPBakery.

Cons

Elementor isn't great if you're trying to have really clean code. In all fairness, none of the page builders on the market do. Elementor uses a lot of div elements nested in one another which can slow down a website.

Good for large websites

Reviewed a month ago

Overall great for large, basic websites. Not as quick to recommend for smaller, more design-focused websites as their system is extremely block heavy/square. Drag & drop is great for quickly getting a website put together, though it's lacking the ability to create more dynamic pages with organic shapes and design. We use DIVI for smaller websites that are here to impress & Elementor for larger database type websites that are here to inform.

Pros

Easy to deploy, low learning curve, quick to load lots of content, lots of themes are compatible with Elementor

Cons

Not as design-forward, blocks are limiting depending on use

Elementor

The best page/site builder for WordPRess

Reviewed 5 years ago

Elementor is great to work with. It has a lean learning curve, a huge and helpful community, and there are add-ons for just about anything you'd need. Its features are great for marketing purposes too (popups, forms, sticky elements, etc.), making it a great choice for landing pages too.

Pros

Besides being a fantastic page builder with a lean learning curve, I mostly like the huge community that has formed around Elementor. There's an entire "ecosystem" developed around Elementor: there are so many fantastic add-ons developed by the community and even themes developed specifically for Elementor

Cons

The loading speed of pages built with Elementor is often bigger than some other page builders, such as Oxygen Builder. I feel like this area could be improved, so that Elementor does not load scripts and styles of elements that are not inserted on the page. While it may not build the fastest pages (in terms of the loading speed due to page size), it does a much better job than most of its competition (Divi builder, WP Bakery Page builder, etc.).

Very glitchy; much better WYSIWYG Builders/Editors out there

Reviewed 2 years ago
Pros

I don't think I ever have said this about a software but I honestly don't know that there is anything that I like about this builder.

Cons

I have used quite a few other builders due to "inheriting" them when taking over web updating projects. Elementor is the glitchiest and least user friendly of any I have used. Things that work smoothly in Bold Grid, Divi Builder, and a few other WordPress editors SEEM to work the same in Elementor but then then to literally break the page. Simple text edits can break links. Menu links are unstable....

9/10 in most cases it’s been great and it’s made my business easier to grow.

Pros

Consistent and easier to understand than Elementor.

Cons

Many customers already used Elementor so it was challenging at times to build their site.

Divi Support Rocks

Reviewed 3 years ago

I came from using elementor, which was a game changer. But, Divi is just more intuitive, and the customer support hands down beats anything that elementor offers.

Pros

My favorite features are the build from existing template and build from existing page. Really make things easy.

Cons

custom navigation is always a challenge, hopefully can be improved/simplified. It would be awesome if there were a bunch of different templates for headers and footers already included. I wish there was a pop-up/overlay feature (that isn't a 3rd party plug-in). Popups/overlays are just a no brainer for developing just about any website.

Pros

This software will help you get your site up and running in no time, better if you are using one of the included templates.

Cons

The user interface isn't very welcoming, specially for someone coming from Elementor or WPBakery.

Divi a very good tool to develop a web page without knowing how to program

I have used Divi for many to easily create many websites for various clients.

Pros

Divi helps you create your website from scratch with WordPress. It is very easy to use and also includes many templates and you can buy many plugins for the same Divi.

Cons

It is a bit slow in terms of loading. since Elementor is very fast compared to Divi.

Hands down the best drag and drop website theme out there

Reviewed a month ago

We have absolutely loved it. We used to use Elementor, which isn't bad, but Divi is noticeably better.

Pros

The drag and drop is very user friendly, their tutorials are perfect, the support has been great though we have almost never needed it. They regular update the theme and provide a huge library of templates for those who might need them.

Cons

Honestly, there isn't anything about Divi that I can complain about. The only downside is that it can sometimes become so large that plugins might occasionally conflict with it but they remedy it quickly every time.

The King of Wordpress Builders

Reviewed 3 years ago

Although wordpress isn't my first choice when developing websites and I only use it when clients request it I actually like creating websites with divi, it's definitely by miles my preferred wp builder.

Pros

People always seem to argue about whether divi or elementor are better, for me it's clearly divi. It's way more intuitive to use at the beginning. Also the templates it comes with are well-designed and imo better than the elementor ones. You can also easily add things like preloaders even if you're not a techy-person.

Cons

it's an annual subscription so it's not considered to be cheap at around 100 bucks a year, however compared to other builders (other than Wordpress eg. duda) it's priced fairly.

Divi FTW!

Reviewed a year ago

Very happy with my investment. Loved the one-time lifetime option (no recurring fees!). Their support rocks and I'm proud to call myself a customer!

Pros

Having a Theme Builder and Page Builder integrated with the template is fantastic! Beats Elementor all day! Also, Divi has *significantly* reduced my need for third-party plugins!

Cons

There is so much power with Divi that you can easily get lost in the sauce. However, after some focused time using Divi, I wouldn't go back to anything else!

A good system which is always being developed

Reviewed 3 years ago

My overall experience has been great. We can easily build custom websites in infinite designs.

Pros

Divi is incredibly powerful and easy to use. It is constantly being worked on and support is amazing. They seem to be able to easily fix any issue we have with our websites.

Cons

Some plugins are set up to work with Elementor, but not with Divi and store modules could be more flexible, but aside from that it is hard to fault.

My bread and butter

Reviewed 3 years ago

I build all my client websites with DIVI. It has hands down made the most incredible impact on my ability to produce websites my clients love.

Pros

My background is as a designer first, developer second. Pumping out tight designs is incredibly easy. Also, the customer service is the best I have ever experienced in every industry of business.

Cons

I really enjoy how elementor has native vertical spacing. They have a few other cool things attached to their product. However, I really wanted a lifetime subscription and picked DIVI. Not disappointed at all.

overall rating of the Divi product

Reviewed 10 months ago

Despite of some technical problems which apper sometimes, I like work with Divi especially beacuse of the support, when someting is to difficult form me I got help and solution from Divi's team. For big advantage of Divi is that is theme and tempaltes in the same time, and It's more stableable than Elementor, especially when you do update of Wordpress or theme. I have never the situation that after updates the website was totally mess (however in Elementor it happens), so for this - congrats!

Pros

Definitely the support! The Divi's team are always kind and helpful. Moreover, the time of response is not so long. I like also liek the most option "the LIFETIME ACCESS" It was very important for mu during the purchase.

Cons

I also work with Elementor, and I have a comparisson. Unfortnately the Divi has not so many options like Elementor ( of course you can add by some code CSS or Java but it will be great if you add some simple options) For example: 1) put the buttons side by side or 2) center the text in columns, 3) or more option to choose how the icon f shopping cart in menu can look likes , more customizible design of displaying a count of things in shopping cart 4) why you don't have the option in picture module, when I have diffrent picture in hover effect, to set up the trans duration?

Very useful for creating good responsive websites.

Reviewed 3 years ago

I have built a lot of my client websites using Divi. It is bar far the easiest to use. Work also happens at a quicker pace.

Pros

Ease of installation. Very comfortable to learn and apply. Many features are inbuilt and can be very helpful.

Cons

The number of templates can be increased. Better work on responsiveness may be. Sometimes a little lag is observed while working on pages. Make more compatible themes for Divi as it is with software like Elementor.

not bad but it has to be better for a consistent usage

Pros

Easy to use, untestable interface, I like the block building in this thing. very easy to understand the whole website design. It has all the features I need for website design.

Cons

Most of the time the builder crashes and I have lost my website designs a few times. It usually loads much slower than Elementor and sometimes it doesn't load at all and I have to refresh and again refresh and refresh!

Thanks lot

Reviewed a year ago

Having used Elementor PRO before and being familiar with WordPress interfaces, I completed my landing page in just a day or two. In the meantime, I would also like to thank the support team who provided quick solutions to my questions.

Pros

It has an extremely easy-to-use interface. Having Turkish language support in the modules is a great advantage. Anyone can use it easily.

Cons

Frankly, I can't say that there is anything I dislike, but it would be nice to have a "country code" in the contact forms. So the user can select the flag of his country.

Definitely recommend they are amazing!

Reviewed 3 years ago

I think I kinda said that up above already but overall great they are great. The customer service is absolutely amazing and next level. I asked for help on how to make a customer header like the one I showed and then the guy actually made the header for me basically. Then I could just go in there and customize it to my liking but he did the majority of the work. So that was absolutely amazing and made me like speechless and I couldn't believe that. Just like I said above overall great would recommend they are just great. There is just so much would definitely recommend to someone trying to build a website.

Pros

It is just like an all-in-one system and solution since it's a theme builder and all to and just like everything you could kinda need is included I feel. Either in Divi itself or the extra stuff that comes along with it when you buy it. For example, you have access to Extra which is their magazine theme they say where you can make like reviews for things from. They also have Bloom which is their email opt-in plugin. Then they also have Monarch which is their social share and follow plugin. So you have access to all of these amazing things and also all of their premade layouts and you can do unlimited websites and you can pay a one-time unlimited fee. It is just incredible and many more I would definitely recommend them.

Cons

I guess the main thing is it is not easy to use as maybe elementor is. Since elementor I think you can edit the header of your page on your actual page I believe and make it a custom one. With Divi though if you want to create a custom header the way you want to have to go into the theme builder option and create a global header. So basically that is the gripe it does not seem as user-friendly as maybe elementor which allows you to do stuff really easily it seems and you can things around really easily. Divi is still really good and might be the best WordPress theme, builder, and visual page builder out there. Since it also has a one-time lifetime fee and no recurring payments and the extras are amazing and their support team and all is amazing. So still would recommend Divi.

Why Divi Is the Best Page Builder for RolePlaying Gamers

Reviewed 2 years ago

I've been developing a dream website for the RolePlaying Gamers (RPG) world, and my web developer is a master at Divi. Since I've been using Divi, I'm blown away at the power of it, as it's far more powerful than what I've seen (as I use Elementor in my WordPress Integrations on my other website).
