Divi

Overview

Elementor is a cloud-based page builder for WordPress websites that allows users to control their full web design workflow within a single platform. Users can employ prebuilt industry-specific themes, create their own pages through a drag-and-drop design editor, and redesign their site in real time.

Divi is a WordPress theme and web page builder used primarily by freelancers, agencies, and e-commerce retailers, but professionals in other sectors also use it. It integrates with WordPress CMS to create custom themes, reusable pages, and SEO-friendly content, optimizing them through split testing.

Pros

“Creating stunning websites is the core benefit that I realize with Elementor on my end which help boost the SEO rankings.”

Eberechukwu A.

Administrator

“Sometimes when I use icons of my pages these are not appearing on the live website as in the design and clearing the cache, regenerate CSS and other fixes needs to be done witch take some times.”

Carly P.

Accounts Administrator

“We get so many clients who go to review an elementor project on 4k and we end up having to sink much more time into making the desktop view 4k friendly.”

David V.

Lead Developer

Pros

“If you are looking to build a website for yourself and have minimum 150 hours to read and view tutorials to understand the new Divi 5 system, then you might be happy once this product is actually out of public beta (they announced twice that it was in the 5 weeks I tried it out without them ever stating clearly in the begining it was beta. Dishonest!). ”

Greg K.

Psychologist

“It lets me move fast, keep designs consistent, and adjust layouts without rework. When I do hit an issue, VIP Support has been top notch, which turns problems into quick fixes instead of long delays.”

Timothy C.

Creative Director

“They finally started relasing more instruction for the new Divi 5 system nearly a month into my experience instead of just the old info on thier Divi 4 system. ”

Greg K.

Psychologist

Cons

“My only gripe with elementor is around their image optimization plugin currently always being pushed even inside the builder. ”

David V.

Lead Developer

“The price increases have made it a bit more expensive for a freelancer to build websites with it.”

Christopher M.

Freelance Web Designer

“It may look sleek on the surface, but if something goes wrong — especially something critical like account access — you’re completely on your own.”

Riccardo G.

Web designer

Cons

“In our experience, Divi AI did not work as advertised for our use case, and once the 30-day refund window had passed, Elegant Themes would not offer a refund, credit, or prorated resolution.”

Kevin S.

VP of Technology

“This despite selling me a public beta system without clearly indicating this, and not providing the needed documentation and tutorials for someone new like me to grasp how to use this incredibly complex system (everything effects most everything in their design). ”

Greg K.

Psychologist

“We purchased Divi AI for $99 on July 9, 2026 and found that it repeatedly failed to follow prompts or instructions and did not produce usable results for our website work.”
