Since the early 2000s, I have been a loyal user of Elegant Themes (Divi), and I can't help but appreciate their unwavering commitment to seamless UI integration, top-notch design, and responsive frameworks. Their customer support is nothing short of exceptional, setting a global standard. Having them as part of my team brings me immense satisfaction and joy.
I'm truly at a loss on this one, as I am genuinely amazed by their dedication because they consistently exceed expectations, even in areas that might not be considered their direct responsibility, such as handling hosting errors. Their commitment to going above and beyond is truly exceptional.

I design both simple landing pages up to e-commerce solutions for my clients with Divi builder.
It's easy to use and offers a community of 3rd party developers that build beautiful software to add into your projects. When things go wrong, Elegant Themes is as responsive as you could expect them to be, but the ecosystem of 3rd party developers for plugins and child themes are also responsive and in some cases - work with each other to resolve your issues.
It's a robust system so it requires almost everything to be up to date all the time. This has caused random, strange issues that I need help troubleshooting. Also due to its design, if you're not an excellent hosting the builder can get weighted down and run slow in website load times. A CDN is almost always necessary.

I manage multiple sites and train managers to use them on a regular basis. Divi is consistently requires the most training and administrative support. Divi consistently takes longer to do simple edits and results in more errors per edit than any other theme we use. Divi requires a lot of server resources and bandwidth for simple actions, making it slow for admins and punishing mobile end users who may have limited bandwidth/poor connections. A faster server will only help so much - you can't spend your way out of this.
1 - The system uses a layout system/library to allow for shared layout elements - such as headers/footers. Allows for custom elements on each page. 2 - Divi provides a WYSIWYG editor.
1 - Divi was built before WordPress used blocks and was intended to solve some of the sames issues and is incompatible. WordPress blocks are far easier to use and understand. 2 - The WSYWG editor is confusing and SLOW. Save does not always mean save, restore features lie and don't work. 3 - Divi uses separate content for mobile and desktop. A single edit must be made in multiple places. 4 - The layout...

Divi is a well build WordPress theme, is light weight and fast wich increase core vitals and search appearence. The support is great and responses are fast, very helpful when you need them.
One of the best feature for me is the visual site builder. It saved me some money because i did not bought another plugin. It has many customizable templates wich can be easily changed to my needs. Visual builder is easy to use and when i need to update any info on the website i can do it myself without any programming skills. It integrates very good with SEO plugins and on page optimization is made easy and fast.
There are no cons for Divi, for me is working very good.

I first purchased divi to try on one site I was redesigning as a pro bono job for a friend, not really expecting much other than maybe a slightly more flexible template that what I'd used in the past. MAN was I wrong. I have since moved all of the sites I maintain (or create) to divi and haven't looked back.
Honestly, it's just so easy to use and not limiting. You can use it simply with a premade template, or go crazy customizing and have most everything you'd need available. Additionally, if you get too far away from your actual abilities the customer support team is absolutely fantastic.
This is totally nit-picky, but occasionally I'll come across some customizations that require some out of the box thinking to accomplish but should be something offered as a feature.
