What is MyLab?
MyLab by Pearson is an eLearning software designed to help higher education institutions curate courses and handle assessments to deliver personalized learning experiences for students. Using the integrated gradebook module, educators can grade assignments, track learners' progress across various courses, departments, and institutions, and automatically identify improvement areas among students.
Features of MyLab include feedback management, single sign-on, data synchronization, content authoring, adaptive learning, communications management, analytics, and more. It offers a homework and test management functionality, which lets educators create and manage online assignments, tests, and quizzes and automatically evaluate results on a unified platform. Teachers can use the application to gain insight into learners’ performance, generate custom reports, and review distribution of grades in real-time.
MyLab facilitates integration with various learning management systems (LMS), such as Blackboard Learn, Brightspace, Canvas, and Moodle via APIs. It also helps administrators modify or remove existing instructional material and add personalized course material as per students’ requirements.
