So far im almost complete with creating my clients webpage in a fraction of the time it would have taken in webflow. Even though i have design experience webflow still has a bit of a learning curve that easier to manage on wix.
-user friendly -image and video support is great -great use of file storage - easy to use templates to make web creation faster
There isnt much i dislike about the program aside for the limit in how many pages i can setup but thats can be used once you subscribe to their upgrade.

It's good. It's not Webflow, but it's simple enough and does the job. It's much better that goDaddy's website services for sure. lol
Around 5 years ago, Wix was synonymous with bad UI/UX design. Now, it's mentioned as an alternative to Squarespace or even, (gasp), Webflow. I like that Wix is pretty easy to use. There aren't as many challenges from before when Wix would be such a nightmare that I would refrain from it at all costs.
I think if they were to come out with more templates, and choice of typefaces and other design-related materials, that'll be so great. If Canva and Wix merged or something. Sometimes the spacing just looks awful even if the individual pieces are great. And I dont want to go in the back-end and code. So ideally, less friction, the better.

I have used many website builders like Wordpress and Google Sites but Wix, with Webflow, is the most advanced tool and very usable. The website templates are responsive so it will fit in all screen resolutions and let you design very complex things in a very cool way.
It could be could if the creators added more template. I still prefer Webflow for the "code addition" feature ( that is more complete of the Wix one).

Positive leaning neutral. I've used a multitude of website page builders and ranked Wix in the middle of the pack with the rest. Webflow is the gold standard.
Wix excels at ease of use. It's very straightforward to use an out of box template to implement a site quickly, with limited tech knowledge or support needed. Its admin tool is capable once you get a handle on the user experience.
The dynamic content tool in Wix is cumbersome and difficult to get command over. The drag & drop editor is sluggish and needs work.

If you have any experience developing websites, I would use Wordpress over Wix. If you have a lot of experience I would recommend Webflow. Only use Wix if you're a clueless business owner needing something cheap for free.
I did not like much, but I did like that there were templates which made it quick to develop a base site. I'm sure this is a great product for people who are not tech-savvy but not for developers.
It was hard to customize to the fullest extent I am used to. Additionally, it is still a learning curve to find stuff.

Overall there's a bit of a learning curve, especially if you've recently moved to Wix from a different website builder tool, but it can make a beautiful and functional website and I'm excited to learn it even more deeply.
It's super customizable, especially for something with a drag-and-drop interface. You can make beautiful sites without a ton of experience.
As someone who's used Wordpress, Webflow, and other platforms that take more back-end understanding, I find Wix a little bit hard to navigate sometimes. It's made to be super easy, but it doesn't always feel totally user-friendly.

Wix is great for anyone with very small pocket and almost no time. However, keep in mind if you want to 10x your business it is not a long-term solution.
Wix is great for any business owner with big dreams but small pocket. It allows you to at least have some sort of web presence or get things rolling before hiring a professionals for your website. EditorX is way more flexible and a direct competitor of Webflow but I can see how the learning curve might not be for everyone patience.
If you are a web designer, UX/UI guy or gyal, WIX is extremely limited. It pretty much CANVA vs Photoshop. It has tons of great templates, but if you want to swim with the big fish and make money, you better off learning WordPress or Webflow.

I like that Editor X has taken the ease of working with the Wix Builder and given "real" web designers the ability to use more familiar concepts like margin, padding, and other CSS modifications.
Editor X is a bit... Clunky? It feels like it takes 6 clicks to accomplish what should only take 1 or 2. A perfect example: If I want to edit the text on a button I'll double click the button and expect the text to highlight for me to revise. Instead, a menu pops up with the option for me to "Edit Text." So I have to click on that button, then click on the field with the text, then edit the text, then save it. With Webflow I literally just double click a button and change the text...

Wix is easy to use and has a variety of themes to build your site from.
In the world of simple drag-and-drop website builders, Wix is far from the best. While it's possible to make some good looking websites in Wix, it's hard to do so if you don't have a knack for web design. And, I'd argue that the majority of Wix users are not skilled web designers — if they were, they likely wouldn't be using Wix. Most Wix websites I come across are messy and don't look professionally made. If you want to build a website but don't feel confident enough to use a more robust builder like WordPress or Webflow, I'd recommend Squarespace. Wix does not have as solid themes as Squarespace, and it's easier to mess things up with Wix. Wix is also prone to freezing.

Extremely positive. I've built a number of websites at this point, both for business and personal use, and they look so much better than anything on Squarespace and Wix.
The ability to create and complete customize a website pretty simply is the best part. I've used other "no-coding" website tools in the past and would get so frustrated because I wouldn't be able to edit key parts of the design with out diving into the muddy code. Webflow allows you to have all the customization you'd find if building your website from scratch without all the coding. As a designer, who can code but prefers not to, Webflow is my preferred spot for building any website.
Some of the tools are hard to find. I've accidentally clicked things in the past and spent hours figuring out where I need to click to fix things. Finding solutions is also difficult at times. The forums aren't as extensive as other softwares that I've used.

Great for putting up landing pages for testing new business ideas. Great placeholder for someone that wants a website but doesn't know how to code or have the funds to pay an agency.
Webflow is much better than Wordpress in that it lets you to create advanced website features and interactions without needing to know how to code or procure and install various plugins.
The learning curve for Webflow is much higher than a Wordpress or Wix alternative. I really wish I was able to move items within containers uses a "dragging" function instead of the Adobe Illustrator-esque UI.

Platform that is great for small businesses just starting out. Highly recommended for it's easy of use, affordability and scalability.
Very slick UI and super easy to use and set up for collaboration. The designer module makes it easy for non-designers to make a site that is not only usable but professional. We really like the extensions that are available for pop-up elements and other helpful engagement modules like PayPal callouts with a Promo offer
We need to track deep analytics so it's kind of an issue to figure out firing triggers via GTM especially with forms. It takes a bit to get to know the platform but that is like any CMS - Wordpress, Wix, Squarespace.

Fairly tricky to get the hang of, but confident users can expect Webflow to blow it's competitors out of the water.
Webflow allows you to build stunning websites with (relative) ease. While development experience is recommended before you dive in, it's not absolutely necessary.
Webflow may be misconstrued as a website builder for all - similar to simple drag & drop builders like Wix, but that's just not the case. There's a mountain of detail and features involved that could be incredibly intimidating for beginners. Definitely try before you buy!

As a web developer, I'm impressed how Webflow found a nice balance between ease of use and power of customization. When you enter the likes of Wix and Squarespace, the power inevitably suffers. Webflow found a way to allow non-technical people to contribute while still allowing developers to fully utilize the power of web technologies.
The lack of concurrent editing meant that we had to coordinate when a team member could access Webflow.

I worked on marketing landing pages using Webflow. I have experience with some other builders and Webflow is really really good.
It has the best tutorial videos I've ever seen. Love it and can't wait to work more with Webflow which has lots of features and the way they've created the web building process is great. It's somewhere between builders like Elementor or Wix and writing code by yourself because some knowledge is needed to use it.
Video tutorials are great but tooltips inside the tool were annyoing and not useful at all. Also, keep in mind, you need to know some HTML/CSS basisc to use it. For some people it can be a disadvantage.

I really like Webflow and I would recommend it to any small business that wants to have a website, it has more options and flexibility than WordPress, Wix and Squarespace. The CMS (blog) content can be a little confusing to set up at first, but all the video introductions really help wrap your mind around how to do everything.
I like how WebFlow does all the coding for me, I don't have to worry about it at all. I can play around with different designs fairly easily without the hassle of actually writing code.
Finding resources to fix something that has gone wrong is fairly technical. There's definitely a learning curve, but once you get through that there's a lot of power in webflow.

I've loved learning and using Webflow. I have deep experience in Wordpress and Squarespace, and moderate experience with Shopify, Wix and Weebly, and Webflow has been a completely different experience. I love how much you can do with it. They also have an awesome resource library to answer basically any question you could ever think up.
I love how customizable Webflow is, and how you can configure it to work for both technical and non-technical users. You can do so much without knowing any code, but you can also create endless customizations if you do know how to code. It's been a best of both worlds for our team.
The high point is also the low point -- we worked with a design agency to create our Webflow site, which created some gaps once we took control of the platform. It's so customizable that the daily users really need to be a part of the basic building blocks of the site from the very beginning, or you'll find yourself up against questions you can't easily answer unless you have an existing knowledge of how Webflow works. It's user-friendly for non-coders, but it is also too easy to mess with if you don't know what you're doing!

My web design company can afford to support smaller businesses and non-profits, because our overhead is MUCH lower, now that we don't need to hire a development team.
Webflow has been a game changer. It allows you to develop a website in a visual way. Unlike Squarespace and Wix and the like, it's not a web builder. You actually use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build the website. For designers, it's crucial, because you can design websites and forego hiring a developer to code it. Truly, Webflow has impressive functionality, and they're always improving.
I wish Webflow had the functionality for native e-commerce. Multiple languages, native forums, and chat functionality would also be nice. While you can integrate all of these features from external plug-ins, it would make the development process much smoother if these functions were native.

Webflow is incredibly powerful and has a really well thought out user interface. If you're prepared to invest time into the learning curve webflow is a great option. Especially for users who can't write code. Compared to a platform like WordPress, Webflow is incredibly forward thinking, and on top of modern web design trends.
For novice/non technical users though some aspects of the UI can be confusing and a bit hidden. Users without a solid understanding of best web design practices will struggle to get the best out of the visual page builders. The learning curve is much steeper than a Wix/Squarespace alternative, for those users who aren't focused on creating a website from scratch.

The single best website design tool I have ever used. Ahead of its time when it comes to website design, boasting some great features that all designers in a no-code space will love to make use of!
Webflow is one of the best website designing tools on the market. Its ability to enable founders to design great front-facing websites is nothing short of spectacular! An excellent tool that enables designers to build fantastic websites!
Webflow lacks in its ability to support core e-commerce functions. Its ability to enable users to design great websites puts platforms like Wix and Magento to shame but its ability to enable worldwide selling still has a long way to come. I also felt a disconnect between Webflow's website design tools and its hosting functions. Shopify and Krepling boast better functions in this arena. That being said nothing comes close to Webflow in terms of designing great websites!

Once you understand webflow you'll never want to go back to any other builder but the learning curve at first is very steep. If your goal is to deploy standard websites fast this isn't the best tool for you, however if you're planning on building memorizabile experiences and indivual websites learning webflow will be the best choice you have ever made.
This is the most powerful visual designer you have ever used when designing websites. Other visual design tools like duda, sqaurespace, wix etc. don't even come close to what is possible with webflow. That's because webflow isn't a usual visual design tool, it's a way to code visually. This explains the huge difference between webflow and the other tools, because you essentially write code you're not tied to any limitations the builder offers. With that in mind you can build pretty much anything you'd ever imagine with webflow.
Because it's so powerful there comes a huge learning curve when first starting webflow. While most of the other visual design tools are more or less self explanatory when you used them for a few weeks webflow is not. This makes introducing the tool to other people hard, however this isn't something that is the fault of the product itself, it comes with the many possibilities this product offers. The thing I dislike most about the service is the customer service, it's close to non-existent. Many other website builder tools offer live chat support etc., however webflow doesnt do that at all, if you have any issues you'll have to write them an email and you can feel lucky if they responod in 2 weeks.

Webflow is the best thing that has ever happened to my business.
As a small business, it's not uncommon to be the one wearing all of the hats in your business. I'm a photographer and I've designed websites for myself through Wix, 22slides, 4ormat, Squarespace, Wordpress, Virb and finally... Webflow. I'm not exaggerating when I say Webflow is the holy grail of customizability and ease of use. For the past 10 years, I've hated doing website updates or overhauls. Now, I look forward to creating websites in Webflow. Using Webflow inspired the confidence to design more websites for fun, including one for a personal project! They all look beautiful.
This honestly may be something I haven't figured out yet, but I don't think you can use animations within CMS pages.

I was surprised at the power at my disposal, particularly adding content and managing styles but was even more impressed at the UI/UX of the editor. I wouldn't call it easy to use exactly but I would call it rewarding.
Of all the what-you-see-is-what-you-get website builders available (such as Wix, Weebly, Squarespace, et. al.) most of them are aimed at amateurs not really anyone with any sort of extensive web design or development background. Webflow is different in that respect and in all aspects of the user experience, from the way style sheets are exposed, displayed, and edited to the extensive hosting options....
Hosting options are kind of confusing. Simplify them, please.
