I enjoyed it at the start but need something that gives me more control.
Wordpress offers lots of options and ways to manipulate your page. It's a great way for beginners to get started with web design with more options than Wix.
Although it is good for fast development, it is not the best. Webflow offers much more and is what I will be switching to.

Have built well over 500 websites using WordPress - working on 5 more right now, will use it into the future.
I have used WordPress for almost 15 years, gave Drupal and Joomla a chance in the beginning and Webflow an opportunity just recently. Will continue using WP well into the future.
No cons whatsoever, if there is something you don't like - write the code and update it yourself or pay someone else to do it.

This software allowed me to start implementing complex website and web shop solutions for clients with various requirements and expectations. If you posses a little bit of coding knowledge, you'll be able to practically create state of the art web solutions.
Sometimes it's necessary to install many plugins and it slows down the site big time. I would love to see WordPress much more lighter. Also, it would be extremely useful if WordPress presented something like Webflow.

Still an important web building platform for now but over time, unless it starts to improve its experience, people will start to move to more advanced and easy-to-use builders.
Heaps of community support and plug-ins for just about anything you can think of. Great template support as well and plenty of options to build powerful websites.
As the years go on and things like webflow start to become more prominent, wordpress feels more and more out of step. It is still clunky and has its issues and I haven't seen much innovation from them in years.

I've been using Wordpress since it's conception and it's developed into a beast of a tool. The community is supportive and while there's no customer service, you can find a free answer to almost every problem. I use Squarespace and ShowIt and Webflow, but always come back to Wordpress because of it's versatility.
Its flexibility of being an open source software, while also it's vulnerability, creates endless possibilities. Paired with the right plugins, Wordpress can do what almost every app out there does, from one hub. The biggest pro is that it's self hosted - you control the content and never have to 'rent' your website and tools. Second biggest pro is that the core is free and there's so many more good plugins that are free to get started - it's the perfect gateway for freelancers, and it's probably what helped build the virtual freelancer economy.
The admin interface is clunky - non-techy clients get lost and overwhelmed quickly When setup incorrectly, it can break easily Not natively secure - needs additional plugins and correct hosting The need of plugins can be overwhelming and cause site lag Time-consuming setup to get it just right

WordPress was the best solution just a few years ago, but I would never recommend it to someone who was starting today and many businesses should make the switch to more performing and modern solutions.
It's cheap and relatively easy to get started with. It has a large ecosystem for plugins, but nowadays it's more a problem than a pro.
The code is bloated, the cost and management of plugins can easily become overwhelming, the CMS is a pain to use. It requires more coding knowledge compared to webflow and squarespace, while being less flexibile and performing. Most of templates are terribly coded and as a result hard to modify and underperforming.

You can do almost anything with Wordpress and the community is always super helpful. It's amazing how often I've thought about something I'd need to build, only to realize there was a free or cheap plugin already available that I could buy and quickly plug into my site. I've set up a few sites and it gets easier every time.
It can be a bit complex under the hood. I've found tools like Webflow are a bit less complex to get set up for a novice developer (or someone with no development experience). This can be good because the added flexibility it provides, but can be a bit daunting depending on your experience level.

WordPress will forever be the top free platform for building a simple user-friendly website. That being said, room for innovation is always important to continuously keep customers and entrepreneurs like myself engaged.
I have always been a big fan of WordPress and how simple they have made website deployment over the years. I have always recommended WordPress to like-minded colleagues looking to go off with their own idea and turn it into a website. Deployment with additional plugins like WooCommerce and Jetpack make it that little bit sweeter.
I have always found issues with WordPress's customer support function. Getting things done can sometimes be far more complicated than they should be. That alongside the wide range of misleading plugins that could cause 'irreversible' damage to your website has made me second guess WordPress over the years, especially with the new emergence of platforms like Shopify, Krepling, and Webflow adding insult to injury when it comes to WordPress's website market share.

WordPress is probably the easiest (and cheapest) way to create a blog or a website, but as soon as you want to build something custom, you start running into problems. There are a number of tools that allow you to build a great looking website way faster than using WordPress and that feature a lot more flexibility (e.g. Webflow). Yes, there are tons of themes very reasonably priced, but as soon as...
It's very easy to start a blog, the hosting is very cheap nowadays, lots of themes to choose from and an impressive amount of plugins to help you build your website without coding skills.
It's overall slow, difficult to customise without good programming knowledge and the underlying infrastructure is obsolete. Poor performance overall and a convoluted CMS for anything else but a blog.

As a designer i really fell in love with this product, it's really slick, really well designed and just plain fun to use.
Since i create websites for a living, i often need to go back to Wordpress because of certain limitations which i can solve in 2 minutes with the right plugin on Wordpress but most of the time i can do what need to do and won't rely on Wordpress.

- Layout of the web editor is simple and easy to use. - Webflow support is always there to help if you need it. - High speed servers makes the website load time a lot faster then hosting it on external servers with wordpress.
- Lack of integerations available as it's still fairly new product compared to competitors like Wordpress.

Tried it out for 6 months and then moved website back to WordPress
Easy to use, has a lot of features, relatively inexpensive, great for a beginner that does not have clue.
Webflow builds pretty websites, but WordPress builds websites that rank higher on a more consistent basis. There are not a lot of plugins or extensions to add stuff to your site.

Hoping to break the mold of standard wordpress sites and do advanced design
I feel like I'm living in the future. After using wordpress for years, webflow was a breath of fresh air. Their training is bomb and I can't wait to keep using it in the future to provide high value for my clients!
I was a little unclear on pricing structure and it I need a new plan for each site, but I figured it out.

Very convenient CMS system, easier to use and maintain compared to WordPress but not that flexible when it comes to collaboration and giving some admin rights to other users
It's very easy to edit your website, very easy to design as well. Everything is hosted and maintained by webflow, no need for plugin update, security concerns etc. So way more suitable CMS system for clients who have no experience editing websites and for whom you need to ensure they wouldn't mess something up
Lack of full SEO options and optimization tools like for WordPress Some options only available to admins and cannot be granted to other collaborators

Coming from a typical CMS software for our website, Wordpress, the more visual approach of Webflow makes it a breeze to update our website.
As a Figma user, I like the way of working in a visual environment. To be able to do this for a website / blog is just great. The # of high quality templates available is also a big plus and made it very easy to finally update our website. We came from two Wordpress websites before and to start create a new version was always something left on the table, as it is too cumbersome to do. With Webflow I am sure keeping the website updated with what we do will be far easier than before.
Currently there are no real downsides. Sometimes I have a hard time fixing things as my html/css knowledge is rather limited, but this has little to do with Webflow itself. Figuring out how it works with their documentation at hand is easy to get past most obstacles.

Overall this is a very useful platform for the beginner web developer who have not much knowledge of programming. You should learn this skill must, this is a career building platform.
Webflow is an easy platform for building your website by just installing theme drag and drop. Moreover it's page designing are way more attractive than WordPress you can add more effective designs using webflow. If you don't know any programming language, you may build your skills by practicing and making websites in webflow and you can earn handsome amount.
There are few cons of Webflow that is thi platform is not free, you can also build your website in Wordpress free of cost with better SEO.

Very positive experience with Webflow, and highly recommended for more static websites that you need to look good on a variety of devices.
Webflow worked extremely well for creating clean websites quickly with limited or no code, and it was great how easily they incorporated responsive design for multiple devices.
Webflow was not as simple for storing content compared to using Wordpress, and it was a little bit more difficult at times to reuse similar work.

Overall I love Webflow for designing pages. But there are certain situations (particularly when it comes to managing a blog) that I would love to go back to Wordpress.
Really is excellent for being able to design your website in an easy, scalable way without having to touch code, CSS, or patching together millions of plugins. I'm a marketer, not a designer, but I can still go from blank slate to great looking page in a matter of hours, rather than waiting weeks for it to go through developers and freelancers.
I love the software for design, but there are some big limitations elsewhere. Firstly, using it as a CMS to run a blog is far from optimal. Wordpress allows me to create users with certain permission levels so multiple people can go in and create and update posts—Webflow doesn't. The SEO aspect to this is also lacking—e.g. I have to create a big manual workaround simply to control my canonical tags. I also wish I could just "Edit HTML" versions of a post to tweak its code like in Wordpress, alas I can't. Secondly, only one person/account can enter the designer at a time, which creates workflow issues. This would be solved if the Editor worked, but it's so underdeveloped and slow that this is basically unusable after a couple of minutes.

Overall, I believe it's the best CMS out there, faster and cheaper than more popular solutions like WordPress, and with the possibility to work on it without coding knowledge.
It doesn't require coding knowledge. Websites built on Webflow don't rely on plugins and are insanely fast. Easy to tweak and make mobile responsive.
It takes times to understand the editor which could be made simpler. The number of pages you can work on with a free plan should be increased.

Great for putting up landing pages for testing new business ideas. Great placeholder for someone that wants a website but doesn't know how to code or have the funds to pay an agency.
Webflow is much better than Wordpress in that it lets you to create advanced website features and interactions without needing to know how to code or procure and install various plugins.
The learning curve for Webflow is much higher than a Wordpress or Wix alternative. I really wish I was able to move items within containers uses a "dragging" function instead of the Adobe Illustrator-esque UI.

We used webflow to design pages for our Wordpress site, exporting the code to add to our website. I was impressed by how simple it was to implement the code into our wider codebase.
Creating webpages is incredibly easy in Webflow. It can be done without any technical expertise. On top of that, the pages can be incredibly complex and beautiful with the features of Webflow.
Editing mobile web pages is certainly possible, but it can be very tedious. I wish designs transalted more to mobile out of the box.

Platform that is great for small businesses just starting out. Highly recommended for it's easy of use, affordability and scalability.
Very slick UI and super easy to use and set up for collaboration. The designer module makes it easy for non-designers to make a site that is not only usable but professional. We really like the extensions that are available for pop-up elements and other helpful engagement modules like PayPal callouts with a Promo offer
We need to track deep analytics so it's kind of an issue to figure out firing triggers via GTM especially with forms. It takes a bit to get to know the platform but that is like any CMS - Wordpress, Wix, Squarespace.

Webflow does a great job outputting sleek, simple, minimalistic looking website designs. The best part is how they let you export the code so you don't even need to purchase anything if you're only using it for one website. I would definitely come back to them even if I needed to pay.
The only problem I've had was how difficult it was for me to hear about Webflow. I feel like I had only ever heard of SquareSpace, WordPress, Weebly, etc. and Webflow has been my favorite when it comes to website building.

Overall it was great, I did need to work with the developer to make some of the changes I wanted - there was less flexibility than other platforms, eg Wordpress, but I suppose that's part of why people like it.
You get a list of pages in all different categories on the site and can easily scroll through them to navigate. It made it easy to see all of the content on the site.
The collections was a little confusing - by opening the settings of a page within a collection I couldn't make changes to the fields, I could just choose SEO titles etc. to go for all the pages in that collection. To change each one individually, I had to look elsewhere. I just found it a little confusing. Another issue was that if I went a few days without opening the editor, the little arrow in the corner wouldn't come up and Id' be stuck. Whenever this happened, I went to the original email I received when opening the account and clicked on that link, then opened the site in a new tab and was able to log in. I would like to have a log on link that I can go to directly.

Webflow has a sleek and easy to use interface. Under the hood Webflow is extremely powerful that can be used to create modern and responsive websites.

Making websites for clients is easier now since you just hand off the billing to them and webflow makes this swift. Ease of turning figma or mokcups into a pixel perfect design with granular editing . So many inspirations from the huge community since it belongs to a bigger community which is the no-code
Considerd no code tool and althouth the learning curve is bit steep its totally worth it and way better than Wordpress when it comes to the pros Fast hosting and freedom of design Many integrations So many templates and cloneables to speed up the process
Pricing for e-commerce is too high, plus its not easily editable once you create an e-commerce page you can't delete it Gets very pricey to customize it from a marketing perspective

Overall a very positive experience. It's not as 'beginner friendly' as their marketing may suggest. If you don't have experience with CSS you may struggle or mess things up here and there, unless you just stick with their templates.
There aren't as many limitations as other simple web builders. If you know a basic level of CSS you can pretty much create what you want. The animation features are great too.
We hire freelancers to work on our website quite a lot and there is a lack of high quality freelancers building in Webflow compared to things like Wordpress. This is hopefully something that will change as the platform becomes more popular, but it has been a frustration at times.

Webflow is incredibly powerful and has a really well thought out user interface. If you're prepared to invest time into the learning curve webflow is a great option. Especially for users who can't write code. Compared to a platform like WordPress, Webflow is incredibly forward thinking, and on top of modern web design trends.
For novice/non technical users though some aspects of the UI can be confusing and a bit hidden. Users without a solid understanding of best web design practices will struggle to get the best out of the visual page builders. The learning curve is much steeper than a Wix/Squarespace alternative, for those users who aren't focused on creating a website from scratch.
