Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

AutoHound overview
What is AutoHound?
AutoHound is cloud-based collision repair shop management software that consolidates booking, check-in, production tracking, parts management, customer communication, payments, and reporting into a single repair order. Designed for independent auto body shops and multi-shop operators (MSOs), it integrates with CCC ONE, Mitchell, Audatex, and AdjustRite estimating systems via a Windows connector, allowing shops to retain existing estimating workflows while managing the full repair lifecycle in one place. Mobile access is available via iPhone and Android for technician work queues, and no dedicated hardware is required beyond one existing shop computer running the Windows connector.
Every repair order in AutoHound holds all associated data: customer and vehicle details, claim information, estimates and supplements, parts, photos, documents, messages, payments, and sublet records, backed by an immutable activity timeline. Production boards display repair stages, blocker tracking, technician assignments, labor timers, and a TV mode for shop-floor visibility. Parts management covers purchase orders, receiving, backorders, vendor invoices, returns, core deposits, and parts margin reporting. Customer and adjuster communications support automated status texts and message templates in both English and Spanish, a secure customer portal, and adjuster evidence packages with marked-up photos. Customers can pay before pickup from a texted link or their status page, by card, Apple Pay or bank transfer, with PayPal and Venmo as an option. Quality control features stage checks with named sign-offs, pass/fail recording, and re-check tracking. Over 50 reports cover cycle time, labor efficiency, parts margin, supplements, balances, and team performance, with CSV and branded PDF export. Live QuickBooks Online sync sends invoices, payments and customers on demand or on a nightly, weekly or monthly schedule.
MSO operators access a single login with a Daily Digest, capacity grid, financial rollup, benchmark comparison, configuration drift detection, and group audit across all locations. Fleet accounts are supported with unit records, customer purchase orders, payment terms, and repair history. Total-loss handling includes a storage clock, teardown, towing, and admin fee tracking, plus a salvage release checklist. Flat monthly pricing at $599 per location covers unlimited users with no setup fee, no data lock-in, and a 30-day free trial.
