Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

AVAG overview
What is AVAG?
AVAG is a cloud-based photogrammetry software platform that transforms raw geospatial data into accurate two-dimensional and three-dimensional visualizations, volume calculations, and invoice-ready reports. The platform supports professionals across construction, earthworks operations, and drone service providers with a centralized solution for processing and analyzing spatial data. The software operates in more than eighty countries and addresses the needs of construction managers, surveyors, earthworks specialists, and geospatial data professionals requiring rapid access to actionable insights from drone-captured imagery and other geospatial sources.
The platform offers three distinct photogrammetric processing workflows to accommodate varying project requirements and technical capabilities. A fully automated workflow processes uploaded files without ground control points and supports unlimited numbers of photographs and data volumes without per-seat licensing restrictions. A semi-automated workflow engages experts from the AVAG Photogrammetric Center to apply ground control points, verify data quality, and advance outputs to automated stages for enhanced precision. An import workflow ingests processed outputs from third-party photogrammetry applications such as PIX four D, Agisoft, three D Survey, and Drone Deploy.
A layered two-dimensional and three-dimensional visualization interface enables navigation of terrain models, execution of volume calculations for cut and fill operations, generation of terrain profiles and cross-sections, and creation of detailed cut and fill maps. Advanced analysis tools support both two-dimensional and three-dimensional vectorization, overlay of CAD drawings, integration of web map services, and incorporation of three-dimensional models for machine control applications. The platform facilitates export and import of geoinformation, drawings, geometries, photographs, three hundred sixty-degree panoramas, and high-resolution grid imagery.
Collaboration features include sharing of spatial assets across an unlimited number of users with granular access rights management to ensure team members view only relevant project information. The software supports operation in six languages and stores data within the European Union to comply with applicable data protection regulations. Industry-standard file formats such as DXF, TXT, CSV, PDF, and Shapefile are supported for seamless data exchange. Integration with DJI Dock systems enables fully automated data capture and processing through autonomous drone infrastructure. The platform consolidates inputs from multiple acquisition methods and processing pipelines into a unified spatial data environment.
