Banyon Utility Billing is complete billing and meter reading software for cities, towns, villages, utility districts, and public and co-op utilities. Bill water, sewer, storm water, electric, gas, garbage, recycling, submeters, combo meters, and any other metered or non-metered service from one system.

Two versions: The advanced version supports unlimited services and is built for organizations billing up to about 5,000 customers. UBLite covers the essentials for offices billing fewer than 500 accounts, including up to nine services, unlimited rates, and monthly or quarterly billing.

Accounts and rates: Create detailed customer accounts with owner, renter, and billing information. Attach customized services and rates, add taxes and surcharges, and set penalties your way. Track deposits and interest and apply them automatically to the final bill.

Billing and meters: Bill by cycle, route, or section on a flexible schedule. Bill sewer on water use or on an average. Flag high, low, and missing readings, estimate readings when needed, and track meter records, usage history, water loss, and sump pumps. Print postcard bills or full statements in 25 formats with USPS Intelligent Mail barcodes.

Payments and collections: Enter receipts by batch, set payment priority, and unpost a wrong receipt, NSF or penalty easily. Print late and owner notices along with meter check and final read orders.

Reporting and budgeting: Track budgets, use 50+ standard reports or build your own, and export to Word, Excel, or PDF. Reprint any customer's bill or history from any period. Track customer concerns and calls and store scanned documents on the account.

Add-on modules: Each is sold separately. Auto Meter Reads (AMR/AMI) sends and receives readings with all popular meter reading vendors. Online and Direct Payments accept credit card, e-check, and ACH. Lock box integration brings in payments processed by your bank. E-bills and a customer web portal deliver bills online with email notifications, bulk email, and auto-call messaging. Receipt barcode scanning, door tags, disconnect notices, tier reports for rate studies, certifying unpaid balances to taxes, outsourced bill printing files, hydrant tracking, and deposit slip printing are also available.

Works with other Banyon software: Utility Billing integrates with Banyon Fund Accounting through a shared data source. Each product is sold on its own, and neither is required.
