What is Bluestream Health?
Bluestream Health is a virtual care platform designed to help healthcare facilities and providers communicate with patients via video visits and create or manage medical workflows using a drag-and-drop interface. The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)-compliant platform lets doctors add interpreters, specialty providers, or family members to video sessions, share notes and intake forms and send invitations via email or text.
Bluestream Health allows ambulatory care facilities to customize the platform according to requirements and track visits using consolidated reports. Hospitals can manage intake and triage across locations, schedule care appointments, and handle patient or provider queues. Clinics can also update required information, collect vitals, review medications, and hand-off patients to nurses and other staff members.
Bluestream Health offers an API, which helps healthcare facilities integrate the platform with several third-party electronic medical records (EMR), reporting, billing, and other systems. Other features include screen sharing, image capture, customizable forms, offline notifications, and data collection.
