Bolt by Sparcle overview

What is Bolt by Sparcle?

Bolt by Sparcle is a private, self-hosted enterprise AI agent platform designed for regulated organizations whose data cannot leave their network. It combines a governed agentic workspace with an ACL-aware data plane (Aeira) and deploys on-premises, inside a private VPC (AWS, Azure, or GCP), or fully air-gapped. The desktop client runs locally on macOS, Windows, and Linux; the central server is deployed via Docker Compose or Kubernetes with Helm for production high availability. A free individual tier requires no account and no server. Paid tiers are self-hosted and structured around 10-, 25-, and 50-seat minimums.

The platform ships 80+ offline utilities that decode and compute entirely on-device with no LLM call and no data egress. When AI is invoked, a multi-layer data loss prevention pipeline detects, masks, tokenizes, and restores PII and secrets at the LLM boundary before any prompt leaves the perimeter, covering streaming responses and text embedded in images. Bolt by Sparcle supports bring-your-own LLM across OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex, Azure OpenAI, Ollama, NVIDIA NIM, on-prem Llama, and any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, with zero token markup. An Agent Gateway extends the same masking to third-party agent-CLI traffic from tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Gemini. Governed agentic actions covering email, calendar, tasks, files, and desktop require human-in-the-loop approval before execution. Open protocol support (MCP, A2A, ACP) and out-of-the-box connectors to Jira, Confluence, Salesforce, GitHub, Notion, and Zendesk enable agent-to-agent delegation without vendor lock-in.

Bolt by Sparcle addresses compliance requirements across healthcare (HIPAA, BAA available), financial services (SOX, DPDPA), legal (privilege-safe AI), and defense and aerospace (ITAR, air-gapped deployment) through 28 signed compliance policy packs. A tamper-evident audit chain using Ed25519 and Merkle structures is verifiable offline with a standalone binary and streams to SIEM platforms including Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, and syslog. Identity and access controls include 4-level ACL (public, department, group, user), SAML SSO, and SCIM 2.0 provisioning for Okta, Azure AD, Google, Auth0, and any OIDC provider. Unified search spans apps, files, clipboard, vaults, emails, meetings, and images via OCR and an opt-in local vision model. A patent-pending priority engine surfaces the single most actionable item across email, calendar, tasks, and messages. The platform is extensible via signed .boltpack bundles for custom recognizers, skills, and agents, and includes a browser extension, integrated terminal, CLI, app launcher, and clipboard history.
