CineScope overview

What is CineScope?

CineScope is guest experience and operations software built for cinema exhibitors. It joins three things that usually sit in different systems: what guests report, what guests thought, and what each film actually sold.

REPORTING

QR placards throughout the building — auditoriums, restrooms, lobbies, concessions — take reports from guests and staff in about 30 seconds. No app to download and no account to create; the code opens a web form that already knows which room it hangs in. Reports are anonymous, and a guard on the form asks a guest to remove personal details if they type any. Each report returns a private tracking link showing status as staff work it.

Guests can report in nine languages. What they write is translated to English for staff, and replies go back in the language it was written in.

AI TRIAGE

A Reviewer Agent checks every report as it arrives: it merges duplicates into the case already open, judges how much the problem matters, and routes it to the staff whose scope covers it. It works to a confidence ladder — anything it is unsure about, and every emergency, is left for a person to decide. Its reasoning is written into the case history, so the record always says who decided what and why.

SENTIMENT

Placards at the auditorium doors ask about the film; placards at the exits ask about the visit. You get star ratings, a recommend score, word of mouth tracked across the weeks of a run, and whether late shows rate lower than matinees for the same title. It is first-party feedback from people who were in the room, collected anonymously, with no review site in between.

PROGRAMMING

Connected to your point of sale, CineScope scores every film run against what that specific cinema usually does on those days, rather than against raw admissions — a quiet title in a quiet week is not the same as a quiet title in a busy one. It then proposes paired schedule changes: one run gains a screening, another gives one up, because a screen is a fixed asset. A manager reviews and publishes; nothing reschedules itself. You also get occupancy by the hour a show starts, screen utilisation, and which auditoriums guests mark down whatever is playing in them.

ASK IT

An assistant built into the app answers questions about your own circuit in plain English — "which runs are playing below usual this week", "is screen 4 costing us admissions". It is read-only, and scoped to what the person asking could already open themselves.

INTEGRATIONS

• Point of sale: for schedules, admissions and ticket prices

• Box office: Wikidata, read daily, or a Comscore CSV you import — optional either way

• MCP connector over OAuth, so an external AI client can read your circuit read-only

• Email and web push for releases, escalations and the weekly digest

• Backup and restore, plus CSV export

SPECIFICATIONS AND SECURITY

Runs at the edge on Cloudflare Workers with per-circuit data isolation. Installable as a progressive web app on any phone, tablet or desktop — nothing to deploy to a device.

Sign-in supports passkeys, authenticator apps and emailed codes, with a two-step policy the account admin sets for the roles they choose. Access is role-based and scoped: a general manager sees their own sites, and a maintenance contractor sees only the issue types they cover at the buildings they cover. Every sign-in and security event is logged and readable in the app.

Support access is off unless you turn it on, and can be granted blinded so our support can help without reading guest report text. A compliance register tracks GDPR and UK GDPR obligations with annual attestations, and content security policy forbids inline scripts and styles throughout.
