Coder is a self-hosted platform for provisioning and managing cloud development environments and AI coding agents on infrastructure the customer controls. The AI Governance Add-On provides a centralized AI Gateway with audit trails of prompts and tool invocations, policy enforcement against upstream LLM providers, and an Agent Firewall for process-level network and command restrictions. Coder Tasks offers a unified interface for running and managing AI agents as managed jobs with full lifecycle control, including integration with CI pipelines, GitHub Actions, Slack, and Jira.
