Cuttl overview
What is Cuttl?
Cuttl is a conversion rate optimisation (CRO) platform with two products. Journey Insights covers heatmaps, session recordings, rage and dead clicks, funnels, form analytics, feedback surveys and site health. Web Experiments covers A/B, split URL, multi-page and multivariate tests, rollouts and Change Impact.
Most teams use two tools for this: one to watch sessions and one to run tests. Cuttl does both from one Cuttl Tag, under 1.5 KB, which loads the rest in the background and never blocks the page. A problem it finds, such as rage clicks on a coupon button, becomes a test idea with the recordings attached. Every test variant gets its own heatmaps and recordings, so you can see why the winner won.
Detected issues are ranked by severity, with how many sessions each one affects. Change Impact tells you whether a change worked, even on sites without enough traffic for an A/B test.
Cuttl also has an MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code can read your heatmaps and recordings and draft tests. Nothing goes live until a person approves it.
Visitors' IP addresses are never stored, and typed text, emails and card numbers are masked before anything is stored. Install guides cover Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, Next.js, Google Tag Manager and more.
The free plan covers one site and up to 5,000 unique visitors a month. Pro and Max add more sites and more unique visitors.
