Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

DaemonLayer overview
What is DaemonLayer?
DaemonLayer is a cloud-based, EU-hosted SaaS platform that sits between the support inbox and the PSA for managed service providers. It processes every incoming ticket through AI-driven triage, classifying request type, intent, and urgency without keyword matching or static rules, assigning confidence scores, and routing low-confidence tickets to a human with context already attached. Before any engineer opens a ticket, the platform assembles Microsoft 365 user data, account history, device state, duplicate detection results, and attachment analysis automatically. For high-confidence, well-defined requests, including password resets, account unlocks, user onboarding and offboarding, and Microsoft 365 user and group management, DaemonLayer executes end-to-end resolution through platform APIs with no technician involvement required.
The platform integrates bidirectionally with ConnectWise, Autotask, HaloPSA, and Jira via REST APIs and Microsoft Partner Center GDAP, reading and writing tickets, notes, statuses, and time entries. PSA-embedded panels surface AI analysis and one-click approvals directly inside ConnectWise and Autotask. Configurable human-in-the-loop approval gates pause sensitive actions for technician sign-off before execution. Intelligent dispatch assigns escalated tickets by technician skill, workload, and resolution history. Support inbox monitoring filters noise and routes genuine requests into the PSA queue, while ticket merge and split logic handles duplicates and multi-issue requests during triage. Billing time-entry modes log accurate or fixed durations against the correct ticket and contract.
DaemonLayer is architected for UK and EU MSPs with GDPR-compliant EU data residency, ICO registration, and multi-tenant isolation using AES-256-GCM encryption at rest with tenant-specific keys. Client data is never used to train or improve external AI models. No agents are installed on customer endpoints and no client-side software is required. The platform operates on a flat-fee unlimited-seat pricing model with no per-user, per-token, or per-action costs, and requires no scripting, configuration, or professional services to go live, reaching operational status within 30 minutes of access being granted.
