Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Decklit overview
What is Decklit?
Most presentation software helps you build a deck. Decklit handles what happens to it afterwards, which is where most of the value and most of the friction actually sits.
Today a finished deck scatters. The file lives in a drive, it gets presented by screen sharing over a call, feedback lands in a chat that vanishes when the meeting ends, and the follow-up starts from an empty inbox. Decklit replaces that with a single place where the deck is shared, presented and followed up on.
Sharing works through one secure link with access controls and expiry. The original file never leaves the platform, so your audience sees the work without ever holding a copy of it, which matters when the deck contains pricing, strategy or intellectual property.
Presenting happens directly in the browser. There is nothing to install for the presenter or the audience, and no screen sharing is required, because slides are synchronised to every participant rather than captured and relayed as video. That architectural difference has practical consequences. Presentations stay sharp on weak connections, they use a fraction of the bandwidth and battery of a conventional screen-shared meeting, and a presenter can run a full live session from a phone browser, not just join one. Viewers can follow the presenter in sync or browse at their own pace, depending on the permissions you set.
Screen sharing is still available when it genuinely helps. Dual View displays your deck, a shared screen and your participants together on one page, so a live demo sits alongside your narrative instead of replacing it.
After the session, nothing disperses. Recordings, shared files, per-slide comments and audience questions stay attached to the deck in the Deck Room, alongside AI-generated session summaries with highlights and suggested next steps. Engagement analytics show how long viewers spent on each slide and where questions arose, so follow-up is informed rather than guessed.
Decklit runs standalone with built-in audio and video, or alongside Zoom, Meet and Teams when you prefer to keep your existing call. It is free to start, with no credit card required.
