EasyKOT is offline-first restaurant POS software for independent restaurants, cafés, dhabas, and hotels in India. The Desktop App runs on Windows and macOS, while Android phones can serve as a counter or captain ordering device. Staff can manage dine-in tables and takeaway orders, send each new kitchen round as a KOT, record cash, UPI, card, or part payments, and print GST invoices on a compatible ESC/POS printer. Core counter work continues during an internet outage and syncs when connectivity returns. Owners use the browser dashboard to manage menus, portions, add-ons, taxes, staff roles, and item availability; review AI-assisted menu imports; and monitor sales, payment, item, and expense reports. EasyKOT costs ₹299 per month or ₹2,990 per year plus 18% GST per outlet after a 90-day free trial, with no card required to start.

Counter workflows include menu search and quick-add dishes, portion sizes such as half and full, variants, add-ons and cooking notes. Staff can assign tables, review order totals, apply configured discounts and move an open check between tables. Later additions create new kitchen rounds. Payment records support cash, UPI, card and Part pay; EasyKOT does not process diner card payments.

Kitchen teams can work from printed KOTs or a kitchen display with ticket timers, preparation and all-day views, category or station filters and completion controls. Bill and KOT printing includes retries and manual reprints. Local-network coordination requires the restaurant hub, network, power and the relevant printers to remain available.

Owners can enter dishes manually, import supported CSV/Excel spreadsheets, or extract a menu PDF/photo with AI and review every item before import. Menus support categories, availability, pinned dishes, portion pricing, add-ons and cost-to-make information. Staff roles, PIN controls and selected manager approvals help manage access.

Reports group sales and collections, menu performance, money and costs, and closing exceptions. Owners can inspect bill history, payment-date views, item/category/variant performance, CSV/Excel exports, daily summaries, expenses, supplier bills, recurring costs, staff pay, cash pockets and profit-and-loss reporting. GST settings include tax rates, bill series and tax breakdowns configured for the outlet.

Online owner reporting, cloud sync, initial setup and AI menu extraction require internet access. Multiple counters and captain phones are included for the outlet; hardware is separate.
