Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

EveryLastMile overview
What is EveryLastMile?
EveryLastMile is an automatic mileage tracker for iPhone, built for self-employed individuals, gig workers, real estate agents, freelancers, and independent contractors who claim business mileage on their taxes. It is designed for individual drivers keeping their own records rather than for fleet or team administration.
How detection works
The app uses on-device sensor fusion, combining motion and location data to recognize when a drive starts and ends. Because it does not rely on GPS alone, tracking continues through tunnels and parking garages where GPS-only apps drop the trip, and CarPlay connection serves as an additional start signal. Detection is passive: no button to press, no trip to remember to log. The app wakes on motion instead of polling GPS continuously, which typically adds 1-2% to daily battery use.
Classification and log management
Detected drives appear on a timeline. Personal trips file themselves; business trips are confirmed with a single swipe. Split, join, and multi-select tools correct mis-detected drives and clear a backlog in seconds. Per-drive notes capture the client, property, or appointment behind a trip. Multi-vehicle support and saved business locations handle households with more than one car and days that begin at a home office. A running deduction counter on the home screen shows the accumulated value of business miles.
Records and reporting
Each drive is recorded as it happens, with date, route, distance, and classification, producing the contemporaneous log and business-purpose detail that tax authorities expect. Logs export as a PDF for filing or a CSV for import into a spreadsheet or accounting package, which is also the handoff path to an accountant or bookkeeper. Reports suit self-employed deduction claims as well as employer or client reimbursement.
Platform and integrations
iPhone-native, requires iOS 26. Platform-agnostic on the driving side: it tracks mileage for drivers working through DoorDash, Uber, Lyft, Instacart, Spark, or any combination of them, without connecting to those accounts. Integrations are deliberately minimal: optional iCloud sync, CarPlay, and PDF/CSV export.
Privacy and security
Trips, routes, and addresses are stored in an encrypted database on the iPhone, protected by iOS data protection. No vendor server holds a copy of the driving history. iCloud sync is optional and writes to the customer's own iCloud account. The app ships with no advertising SDKs, no analytics or social pixels, and no data-broker relationships; product analytics are anonymous and can be disabled in Settings. Mapping services receive coordinates only, never user identity.
