Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Fleetile overview
What is Fleetile?
Fleetile is a GPS fleet tracking and telematics platform delivered as a hosted web application with native iOS and Android clients.
Tracking and data. Vehicles report position, speed, heading and ignition state, with the live map updating every 5 seconds rather than on a polling interval measured in minutes. Trip history is retained per vehicle and replayed second by second, including the route taken, speed at every point, stop duration with address, and the location of harsh braking, rapid acceleration, sharp cornering and speeding events. Where the device is wired deeply enough, engine hours and fuel level are read from the vehicle as well.
Hardware. Fleetile is device-agnostic. It works with over 200 GPS tracker models out of the box and has no hardware lock-in, so existing units can usually be pointed at the platform rather than replaced. It covers 21 or more vehicle makes, and tracks powered and unpowered assets alike: cars, motorcycles, vans, trucks, buses, generators, trailers and machinery. Battery-powered asset trackers cover equipment with no power source of its own.
Alerts and automation. More than 30 configurable alert types cover unauthorised movement, tamper, speeding, harsh driving, fuel drops, low power and geofence entry and exit. Geofences can be drawn as circles, polygons or rectangles and categorised, with rules acting per vehicle or fleet-wide. Alerts route to the dashboard or to push notification on a manager's phone.
Control and security. A remote engine immobiliser can be sent to fitted vehicles from the web or mobile app; the command is queued and executes once the vehicle is stationary rather than cutting power in motion. Commands are dispatched over SMS or HTTP with priority handling, retry on failure, and a full command history. Access is controlled through user management with per-role permissions, separate customer accounts scoped to their own vehicles, and public share links that carry an expiry and an optional PIN and can be revoked or extended at any time.
Reporting. Summary, trips, fuel, driver behaviour and analytics reports export to PDF or CSV. Driver scoring combines five weighted signals into a single figure per driver: harsh braking, rapid acceleration, speed violations, sharp cornering and idle time per kilometre.
