Ganttastic overview

What is Ganttastic?

Ganttastic turns a rough project brief into an editable Gantt plan. It is built for solo project managers, consultants, and small teams that need to plan delivery work without starting from a blank chart.

Describe the project in plain English. The AI asks clarifying questions, then drafts tasks, milestones, dependencies, dates, and a suggested owner for each task. It can shape phases around PMBOK, PRINCE2, or Agile. You review and edit the draft on the Gantt chart.

When plans change, drag a task and downstream dependencies reschedule automatically, including on the free plan. Baselines show drift from the original plan, and a resource view shows load. Ask the AI assistant questions about the live project. On paid plans it also models scenarios, such as what happens if someone is unavailable, and flags schedule risks before a status meeting.

Share read only links with people who do not have an account. Public links hide assignee names, and you can add a password or expiry date. The Project Manager plan adds a portfolio dashboard for viewing several projects side by side.

Import Excel, CSV, and Microsoft Project files in XML or .mpp format. Export PDF and PNG on every plan, .gwise on paid plans, and Excel on the Project Manager plan.

Ganttastic runs in the browser with nothing to install. The free Team Member plan has no time limit and needs no credit card. Enterprise plans are in early access.

The AI writes the first draft. You still manage the project.
