GEOVISION MES is a modular Manufacturing Execution System designed for small and medium-sized CNC machining shops and contract manufacturers. Built on a single centralized BIOS database shared with the ERP and production planning modules, GEOVISION MES eliminates duplicate data entry across systems and provides full shopfloor visibility from work preparation through machine-level execution and quality assurance. Deployment follows an on-premises infrastructure model with browser-based interfaces for the BDE shopfloor terminal and the QM measurement client, plus an iOS mobile app for warehouse management.

GEOVISION MES spans five functional domains. Shopfloor data capture (VisionBDE) delivers a web-based, platform-independent terminal for order and operational data collection, capacity-based master planning, document viewing, and role-based permissions. Machine data acquisition (MDE) connects manufacturer-independently to CNC equipment, capturing machine states, cycle times, piece counts, setup times, and productive versus unproductive time, with graphical plan/actual evaluation. The Pottmanager module handles order-referenced tool management across machine magazines, buffer stores, and cabinets, with automatic tool list generation from CAM systems, tool life monitoring, automatic pot assignment, bidirectional CAM and tool database interfaces, and presetting device integration for offset value feedback. Quality management (VisionQM) provides a web-based measurement client with inspection plan creation from ERP master data, measurement device management including calibration and release tracking, measurement machine connection for automatic data import, first article inspection reports, and complaint management with 4D/8D reports. The CerPro integration adds AI-assisted technical drawing analysis that automatically detects and classifies dimensions, threads, fits, and geometric tolerances from PDF, image, and DXF drawings, stamping recognized features directly into the drawing for immediate inspection plan use. VisionConnect rounds out the platform as an AI interface layer that connects external AI models to ERP and MES data via MCP/REST-API, supporting production data read/write via AI chat and automated article creation from parsed drawings.

GEOVISION MES has been developed and validated in an in-house production facility and is deployed at over 650 customer sites across Europe since 1986.
