I-Cost is a web-based commercial and carbon management platform for UK construction companies. It connects estimating, procurement, labour and carbon to the same project data, so estimators, quantity surveyors and site teams work from one set of numbers.

Estimating: import a client's bill of quantities (BOQ) from Excel or CSV, check it in a preview, then build a structured estimate with areas, levels, main and sub codes. Apply cost rates, selling rates and target margins, reuse items from your own item and formula libraries, and lock the final estimate for tender with controlled revisions.

Procurement: keep a supplier directory, send requests for quotation across several areas and levels, compare supplier prices side by side and issue sequentially numbered purchase orders. Delivery notes, invoices and certificates are stored against each order.

Labour: staff and site operatives log hours against estimate items using quick time buttons, recent items and copy last day, with weekly timesheets and manager approval.

Carbon: give every estimate line an embodied-carbon factor from the UK ICE database or your own EPD factors, and see project carbon alongside cost.

Reporting and control: project cost reports compare estimate against actual cost by area and export to PDF, Word and Excel. Roles, granular permissions, project-level access and daily backups keep company data under control.

Pricing is £35 per user per month with a 7-day free trial. Suppliers and site operatives do not need a paid seat.
