What is Intakes?
Intakes replaces the spreadsheet most small sellers use to track stock and profit. Each purchase is recorded once, with its shipping, auction fees and other costs shared across the items it brought in, so you always know what a single piece cost, even from a bulk lot bought for one price. Stock is kept the way it really exists: one record per unique item, or a running quantity for things sold by the piece, the yard or the pound, with where each one is stored. Sales from eBay and Etsy come in on their own with the marketplace's fees attached, and sales from markets or your own shop are added by hand, so every sale shows its profit after fees, postage and packaging. Makers can define recipes and run work orders, and finished products pick up the cost of their materials and labor. Reports cover profit and loss, best and slowest sellers, profit by where you bought, and stock value on any date. $49 a month per workspace with unlimited users; try it free for 90 days.
