What is Jpgrm?
Jpgrm is a web-based and mobile image editing tool that removes unwanted objects, people, or content from photos and automatically reconstructs the background using an AI generative adversarial network (GAN) model. Accessible via browser at jpgrm.com and as a mobile app, it requires no manual editing expertise to produce clean results.
The brush-based interface allows users to paint over any unwanted content in an image. The GAN model identifies the selected area and surrounding background, erases the marked content, and fills in the background automatically. The process is repeatable, allowing iterative refinement until the desired result is achieved. Supported use cases include landscape photos, product images, and crowd removal from backgrounds. Images under 1000px resolution are typically processed in one to two seconds, and HD image downloads are available. An image comparison view lets users evaluate before-and-after results directly in the interface.
Jpgrm targets general consumers and individual users who need fast, accessible photo editing without manual retouching workflows. Images are deleted from servers immediately after processing, addressing data retention concerns for users handling sensitive or personal photos.
