KitchenTrace overview
What is KitchenTrace?
KitchenTrace is a mobile app for professional kitchens (restaurants, pizzerias, pastry and gelato shops, delis, food workshops) that keeps HACCP production and blast-chilling records. It was created by a working chef who uses it every day during service.
Staff photograph the label of each product they use: the app reads the barcode and the printed text (product, supplier, lot, expiry date, allergens) and asks for confirmation when a value is uncertain. Selecting the products used in a preparation creates the production sheet with lots, suppliers and inherited allergens; each preparation gets its own code to write on the container label. Blast chiller records are included. Lots are linked to preparations, so a recalled lot can be traced in seconds.
Sheets can be saved as PDF wherever you want or printed on A4. No account needed; data stays on the device. For iPhone, iPad and Android, in Italian.
