Kleerance helps exporters, freight forwarders, customs brokers, importers and other business-to-business companies check the parties they deal with against official government lists before they ship, pay or sign.

A single search covers 24 lists: the United States Consolidated Screening List (Treasury sanctions lists, the Commerce Department Entity, Denied Persons, Unverified and Military End-User lists, and State Department debarment and nonproliferation lists), the United Nations, European Union, United Kingdom, Canada, Switzerland and Japan sanctions lists, and United States import, debarment and red-flag lists including the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act Entity List, customs withhold release orders, the Section 1260H list, the Federal Communications Commission Covered List and federal contracting exclusions. Kleerance downloads each list from its official publisher on a fixed schedule, from every 6 hours to daily, and shows when each one was last refreshed.

Results explain themselves. Each possible match shows the list it is on, why it matched (a fuzzy name match or an exact identifier such as a ship, aircraft or company registration number), what a hit on that list means, and a link to the official source. You can record a review decision with a note, screen a whole customer or supplier file from a spreadsheet, put regular parties under monitoring with email alerts, and download a timestamped record of each screen. A documented programming interface is included on the Pro and Business plans.
