Integrations

Medisoft integrates with the eMedix clearinghouse for electronic claims submission and payer connectivity. For practices that want combined clinical and billing workflows, Medisoft supports EHR integration with CGM Clinical, Aprima, and NextGen Office. Data can be hosted on local practice servers or migrated to cloud infrastructure.

Deployment Options

Medisoft runs either on-premise, on a practice's own local servers, or cloud-hosted through a Medisoft reseller. Cloud hosting allows staff to access the system remotely from any location or device, with the hosting provider managing server uptime and maintenance.

Security & Compliance

Cloud-hosted Medisoft deployments can include HIPAA-compliant hosting infrastructure, automated data backups, and a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA) between the practice and its hosting provider. (Note: hosting providers support HIPAA compliance for the systems they manage. The practice itself remains responsible for its overall HIPAA compliance program.)

Training & Support

Ongoing staff training is available through Medisoft University, covering both new-user onboarding and advanced billing workflows. Technical support is available through Medisoft resellers, including U.S.-based, Medisoft-specialized support teams as an alternative to general software help desks.
