MontiX is cloud software built for companies in Mexico that rent equipment for events: chairs, tables, tents, dinnerware, glassware and linens.

Most rental companies still run on spreadsheets, notebooks and WhatsApp, and the same problem keeps coming back: two salespeople promise the same 200 chairs for the same Saturday. MontiX solves it by calculating availability by date and hour. It takes into account confirmed contracts, pieces sent to repair, items sub-rented from other companies and the turnaround time needed to clean and prepare items between events.

How it works, step by step:

- Sales creates a quote with your catalog, packages and prices, and downloads it as a PDF with your logo.

- When the customer accepts, the quote becomes a contract. MontiX re-checks stock hour by hour and reserves the pieces; if they are not enough, it tells you how many are missing and at what time, instead of letting the contract through.

- Logistics plans the week: deliveries and pickups, vehicle and crew for each service, and a load sheet the team opens on the phone.

- At pickup, the field crew records per item what came back fine, damaged or missing. Missing pieces are removed from stock, damaged pieces go to repair, and the replacement charge is added to the contract with the security deposit applied to the balance.

- Every contract shows advances, payments and balance, with numbered receipts. Expenses can be linked to a contract or a vehicle, and the dashboard shows monthly income, expenses and profit.

MontiX runs in the browser on computers, tablets and phones, in Spanish, with amounts in Mexican pesos. Pricing is based on concurrent users, so the whole team can have an account. Plans start at MXN 599 per month plus VAT, and the service is covered by a 99.9% monthly uptime SLA.

What MontiX does not do (yet): it does not issue CFDI invoices, does not process online payments and has no customer portal.
