Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

MyFidelity overview
What is MyFidelity?
MyFidelity issues loyalty cards as native wallet passes, not as another mobile app. Customers scan a QR code at the counter, approve the pass, and it lands in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet in seconds — no account, no password, no install.
How the pass works
Each pass is signed and issued server-side, then kept in sync afterwards. When a customer earns points or the merchant changes the card design, the pass already installed on the phone updates itself: Apple passes are refreshed through the PassKit web service with certificate-based apns push, Google passes through the Google Wallet api. Nothing to reissue, nothing to reinstall.
The card carries a compact signed token in its QR. Scanning is bound to the merchant's authenticated session, and a server-side throttle blocks a second credit for the same customer within a short window, which stops accidental double scans at a busy counter.
Loyalty rules
Four modes: points per visit, points per unit spent, both combined, or cash-back where the customer accrues a percentage of what they spend. Tiers, reward thresholds, bonus weekdays with a multiplier, and a minimum balance before cash-back can be spent are all configurable per merchant. Amounts are stored in minor units and every currency in ISO 4217 is supported, so figures stay correct outside the eurozone.
Staff can also credit a visit from the back office when a customer forgot their card, grant goodwill points, or reverse a mistake. Manual adjustments are stored separately from real visits so they never inflate revenue figures, and each one records its reason and its author.
Reach and automation
Wallet push notifications reach installed cards with no per-message fee. Email campaigns and automations cover birthdays, lapsed customers and tier rewards. Every marketing email carries a visible unsubscribe link and the list-unsubscribe header with one-click support, as required by major mailbox providers.
Security and data
Hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt, Dublin). Gdpr compliant, data processing agreement available, row-level isolation so no merchant can read another's customers. Encrypted daily backups. Customer data is never sold or shared.
Setup and support
Onboarding generates the wallet cards, the counter QR poster and the scan page automatically; most merchants are live in about fifteen minutes without a developer. Support is by email, in French and English.
Free 14-day trial. Card required, no charge before day 15.
