What is OD Link?
OD Link is a comprehensive practice management and EHR/EMR software targeted at opticians & optometry clinics and helps in maintaining patient records, appointments, exam & lab results, billing & insurance information, referrals and recalls.
The software offers a variety of features including document management, email communication, search functionality and records management. The tool helps to maintain vendor and insurance lists and track inventory items such as contact lenses and frames. OD Link supports insurance claims processing, the management of multiple service locations for doctors, and administrative functions such as tracking taxes, transaction adjustments and outstanding balances.
OD Link allows administrators and doctors to enter patient demographics and send emails to patients directly from the solution interface. A history of patient transactions and correspondence is also maintained. Users can generate reports on various topics, import/export data to other software and receive inputs from electronic optometry equipment. All features of OD Link are designed within one program, which is compatible with other web services and insurance claim processing centers.
OD Link can be installed on-premises or hosted in the cloud and as well as working on both Windows and Mac platforms, is optimized for use on iPad and iPhone. The software is certified for Meaningful Use Stage 1 and Stage 2 and is HIPAA & Drummond certified.
