What is openAudit?
Ellipsys is the vendor of a software, {openAudit}, in place in about fifteen companies.
openAudit, allows you to dynamically analyze heterogeneous / large Information Systems, on prem’ or in the Cloud, to transform them.
Technically it is an automated "reverse engineering" solution which continuously analyzes all the technical stacks of the IS (storage, processing, scheduling, logs, reporting - on prem' and in the cloud).
The technical answers:
• A dynamic mapping of the IS via data lineage (where the information comes from, where it goes);
• Definition of the uses of information: who uses it, how, when;
• Detection of what is really useful (or not) in the Systems, on prem' and Cloud;
• automated "translation" of object/procedural languages.
The Use Cases that these answers address:
• Share knowledge, and facilitate maintenance;
• Lower maintenance costs by massively reducing volumes, streamlining pipelines = erasing IT technical debt;
