What is opheo?
opheo is route planning and transportation dispatch software for organizations that operate their own or permanently chartered truck fleets. Its planning cockpit brings orders, vehicles, drivers, routes, live statuses, and forecasts together in a drag-and-drop Gantt view.
In-house algorithms automate route planning, generate scheduling suggestions, optimize assignments and stop sequences, and continuously recalculate estimated times of arrival. Dispatchers can identify delivery-window, traffic, driving-time, and downstream tour conflicts early, compare alternatives, and adjust schedules during execution.
The optional opheo MOBILE driver app connects dispatchers, drivers, and vehicles. It supports digital tour transmission and processing, navigation, status feedback, document capture, and electronic proof of delivery. GPS, telematics, and tachograph data can be incorporated for live vehicle positions, more accurate ETAs, and remaining-driving-time forecasts. opheo can also be used without an existing telematics system.
Open interfaces connect opheo with ERP, WMS, freight exchange, and telematics environments. Supported integrations include SAP, TIMOCOM, GVS, SPEDION, and YellowFox. Orders and master data can flow into planning, while schedules, statuses, and ETA data can be returned to connected systems.
The software supports different vehicle types and operational requirements and can be expanded through optional modules and interfaces. It is available on premises or as a SaaS solution hosted in Microsoft Azure.
Implementation is supported by consultants and project managers. Dispatcher onboarding is divided into introductory training focused on master data and dedicated dispatch training. User manuals are available for the core software and the respective add-on modules.
