Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

OPTMILE overview
What is OPTMILE?
OPTMILE is a last-mile logistics planning and optimization software solution designed to support strategic and tactical decision making for distribution networks. The platform enables logistics professionals and supply chain managers to address the complexity of final-mile delivery by providing technical analysis for cross-docking point selection, fleet sizing and route clustering. The software’s algorithmic framework evaluates trade-offs across transportation modes and depot locations to inform network design and operational adjustments.
The software features a multi-objective optimization engine that balances financial and environmental considerations through customizable cost models. Users can model an unlimited number of customers and installations and perform geographic clusterization to reveal cost reduction potential by region. The platform supports fleet dimensioning analysis for proprietary and third-party vehicles and incorporates seasonality modeling across daily, weekly, monthly and annual timeframes. Alternative transport modes such as electric vehicles and bicycles can be simulated within the network model while drop-size parameters reflect average delivery quantities.
OPTMILE integrates a detailed representation of operational constraints and parameters to ensure realistic modeling of distribution operations. The system allows definition of average delivery sizes, forced activation of existing facilities and parameterization of return-trip cost factors. Vehicle profile restrictions may be applied to each supply chain link and installation. Demand variability across timeframes and daily order types is accommodated, and additional resources and capacities can be associated with each facility. Capacity limitations are considered across weight, volume, item count and value dimensions. Route inefficiency factors and loading-time parameters enhance modeling fidelity, and reporting features provide route details including trip counts and vehicle occupancy. Map filtering and predefined service regions enable spatial analysis with region-specific seasonality considerations.
The platform integrates with the Gurobi optimization engine to deliver high performance computational capabilities and connects with INPO’s FOCS module for strategic network design as well as SPOTR for operational routing considerations. OPTMILE operates on Windows eight or higher systems with a sixty-four-bit processor of one gigahertz or greater, requires four gigabytes of memory and two hundred megabytes of disk space. The installation process requires no external database and minimizes operational overhead. Georeferenced interactive map exports support spatial analysis and the interface allows logistics personnel to interpret results and adjust modeling parameters without extensive technical training.
