Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Optrak overview
What is Optrak?
Optrak is an artificial intelligence based route optimisation and transport planning application that streamlines logistics operations and supports fleet decarbonisation initiatives. The platform provides planners and fleet managers with operational and strategic capabilities to manage complex delivery and collection networks across multiple depots, vehicle categories, and fuel sources. Optrak serves industries such as food and beverage distribution, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, retail and e commerce, and waste management and recycling, addressing sector specific constraints and requirements. Deployment options include both cloud based and on premise installations to accommodate organisations ranging from small enterprises to large corporations.
The planning interface integrates map based visualisation with data table management and drag and drop functions for manual trip editing. Driver and trip timelines display loading, unloading, break periods, and recharge schedules for planned electric vehicles. The application incorporates two dimensional and three dimensional load optimisation that models items such as products, pallets, and cages, as well as bulk liquid tanks, while accounting for axle weight limits and bespoke loading rules. Users can construct vehicle layouts and define custom loading processes to generate load diagrams for warehouse operations. The route optimisation engine relies on a modular library of heuristics and solvers that autotune through artificial intelligence and machine learning elements, adapting to evolving operational parameters to deliver more cost effective routing.
Adaptive scenario modelling allows planners to test operational strategies, simulate fleet transitions, assess depot relocation impacts, evaluate charging infrastructure needs, and model the effects of additional contracts on existing schedules. Advanced vehicle consumption modelling, developed in collaboration with Innovate United Kingdom and the University of Cambridge, calculates electric vehicle charge usage across planned trips. The system factors in variables such as road gradient, vehicle mass fluctuations, traffic conditions, weather influences, and auxiliary power consumption to maintain charge levels within operational limits. The platform supports multi fuel fleet planning by accommodating mixed fleets powered by diesel, electric vehicles, liquefied natural gas, hydrotreated vegetable oil, and compressed natural gas while tracking carbon dioxide emissions reductions. In route charging planning identifies suitable public and private charging facilities, determines charge requirements to complete trips with safety margins, and generates booking requests. Environmental reporting features document carbon dioxide savings from route enhancements or fuel substitutions and export data for carbon accounting in third party systems.
Integration capabilities extend to enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management, and warehouse management systems to ensure seamless data exchange and workflow continuity. Integration with public and private charging networks is supported with continuous onboarding of new infrastructure as electric heavy goods vehicle charging networks expand. A dedicated support and training programme assists transport planning teams in implementation and ongoing operation.
