What is OwlCAD?
OwlCAD is browser-based parametric CAD for 3D printing. Design functional parts, check that they will print, and export production-ready files without installing software.

- Parametric modelling: change any dimension and the model rebuilds, with a timeline you can scrub and edit
- Print-aware design: overhang and wall-thickness checks, watertightness reporting, hollowing, lay-flat, build-volume fit, and print weight and cost estimates
- Fit tolerances: clearance presets for press-fit, slip-fit and loose-fit parts
- Modelling toolkit: constrained sketches, per-edge fillets and chamfers, patterns, sweep and loft
- Assemblies: mates, bill of materials and exploded views
- 33 parametric generators: gears, gear trains, threads, fasteners, enclosures, Gridfinity, bearings, hinges, springs and more
- OpenSCAD support: import and run .scad scripts with a live editor and customizer controls
- AI (Pro): generate models from a description, edit by chat, or let AI agents such as Claude Code and Cursor build parts over MCP
- Sharing: read-only share links, a public gallery and remixable models
