Pitstop overview

What is Pitstop?

Pitstop is a cloud-based, self-serve catalog of fixed-scope AI machines accessed via MCP and OAuth authentication, designed for AI agent developers and teams running automated workflows. The catalog exposes 8 server-side machines covering invoice batch parsing, message triage with first-pass draft generation, data cleaning with change logs, meeting transcript summarization, contract comparison with clause-cited reports, company research briefs, document generation, FX rate lookups, SERP snapshots, and keyword volume queries. No API key pasting is required; authentication is handled exclusively through OAuth, keeping user credentials off the client.

Billing operates on a credit model with no subscription requirement. Credits are held at job start and settled only on successful completion; failed jobs trigger automatic refunds. Credits never expire, and volume discounts apply to larger credit packs. Per-machine pricing is visible in the catalog before any job is submitted. Pitstop follows a bring-your-own-brain model: the user's LLM is neither replaced nor shared, and server-side execution handles the fixed-scope processing independently of the client's model.

Target industries include finance and accounting (invoice parsing, FX rates), operations and productivity (meeting summaries, data cleaning), legal and compliance (contract comparison), and sales and marketing (SERP snapshots, keyword volume, company research briefs). Pitstop is compatible with Claude Desktop, Codex, Cursor, and any MCP client, making it suitable for teams that need bounded, auditable AI job execution without managing persistent infrastructure.
