PixDeel overview
What is PixDeel?
PixDeel is an event photo marketplace for photographers who shoot sports, races and other events and sell the photos to the people in them. The photographer creates an event, uploads the photos and sets the prices. PixDeel provides the storefront, the photo search and the checkout.
Faces and bib numbers are detected while the photos upload, so buyers find the photos they appear in with a selfie or their bib number, and nobody tags anything by hand. Buyers pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay without creating an account, and download full-resolution files with no watermark right after payment.
Each photographer gets a white-label storefront on a PixDeel subdomain or on their own domain, with their logo and colors. Pricing tools include quantity discounts, all-media packages and coupons, and video can be sold next to the photos at its own price. Bulk upload catches duplicates, previews are low resolution and watermarked, and abandoned cart emails bring buyers back. Photographers who shot an event together, and the partner who brought in the job, can share its sales, with each share set in advance.
PixDeel is free to start, with no subscription. The photographer keeps 90% of every sale and card processing costs are covered by PixDeel. Earnings go to a Stripe account in the photographer's name.
