ProjectTimeTracker is a native iOS and iPadOS application (iPhone and iPad, iOS 18 or later) for tracking time by project. It requires no account creation or registration — the app is usable immediately after installation — and it is distributed through the Apple App Store.

Projects are created with a name and color, and time is logged either through a live stopwatch (with pause, resume, and continue-an-entry support) or as a manual entry for time worked earlier. Entries can carry notes and tags, both project-specific and cross-project, for itemized reporting. All entries persist locally on the device and remain available fully offline; the app also syncs data automatically across a user's own devices in the background using an anonymous, non-personal device identifier, so a new device can be restored from backup.

While a timer is active, a Live Activity displays the running project and elapsed time on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. A Time Guard feature lets users configure a maximum daily working time, for a single project or across all projects, with a notification (and a follow-up reminder) once the limit is reached — positioned specifically to help prevent overworking. A Statistics tab visualizes recorded time by day, week, month, and year, with per-project breakdowns and date-range filtering; on iPad this is laid out in two columns.

The free tier includes unlimited projects and tags and up to 250 time entries per calendar year. A premium subscription removes that entry limit and unlocks export to CSV, Excel (XLSX), PDF, calendar (.ics), and a full JSON backup, delivered through the standard iOS share sheet.

The app does not offer team, workspace, or third-party integration features; it is built for individual use rather than as a business management platform.
