Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

ProvePrivacy overview
What is ProvePrivacy?
ProvePrivacy is a GDPR compliance SaaS platform designed for lean data protection teams in large SMEs and mid-cap organisations. The platform enables Data Protection Officers and privacy teams to manage the full range of UK GDPR and EU GDPR obligations through a single, centralised digital environment — replacing spreadsheets and disconnected processes with structured, trackable workflows.
The platform is built around the principle that compliance software should be accessible to staff without deep data protection expertise. ProvePrivacy's intuitive interface allows operational teams to take ownership of their own data and processes through the Data Champions Model, while the central data protection function retains oversight and can report confidently to boards and senior stakeholders.
ProvePrivacy includes modules covering all core areas of GDPR compliance. The RoPA and Data Mapping module structures Article 30 records requirements into guided workflows, automatically identifying and registering data processing risks. The Risk Management module allows teams to rate, manage, and act on both RoPA-generated risks and manually entered risks, with automated notifications to keep actions on track. The Incident and Breach Management module provides a concise logging and management interface for data breaches, DSARs, and other data subject rights requests — designed to meet ICO reporting timescales without complexity.
The MI Dashboards module replaces manual spreadsheet reporting with real-time, high-level visualisations of compliance status, enabling meaningful conversations with boards and senior stakeholders. The Policy Management module stores an organisation's policies and procedures, tracks review cycles, and records staff readership. The Information Asset Module enables Information Asset Managers to consolidate, deduplicate, and maintain the organisation's information asset register. The Technical and Organisational Controls module maps compliance evidence against frameworks including ISO 27001, ISO 27701, NCSC CAF, and NIST 2.0.
ProvePrivacy is deployed as a cloud-based SaaS platform with unlimited users included in a single annual licence. All modules are included at the base price — there are no per-user fees, no module-level upsells, and no complex implementation requirements. Pricing starts at £8,000 per year, making robust GDPR compliance achievable for organisations with constrained data protection budgets.
The platform has been adopted across regulated sectors including NHS trusts and Integrated Care Boards, independent healthcare providers, life sciences organisations, higher education institutions, financial services firms, and wholesale businesses. ProvePrivacy supports clients through swift initial onboarding, iterative module rollouts with defined timescales, and a collaborative client partnership model that prioritises responsiveness and continuous improvement.
