Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

QALIPSIS overview
What is QALIPSIS?
QALIPSIS is an open-source, enterprise-grade load, performance, and end-to-end testing platform built for distributed, microservice-based, cloud-native, and event-driven architectures. Unlike tools that validate only HTTP responses or isolated API endpoints, QALIPSIS models complete distributed workflows across REST, messaging protocols, and SQL/NoSQL databases within a single test scenario. Target users include software developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, IT operations teams, and Site Reliability Engineers who require rigorous validation at scale, from individual developer workstations to enterprise clusters handling thousands to millions of virtual users across multiple geographic zones.
QALIPSIS scenarios are authored as code using a Kotlin-based fluent DSL, version-controlled alongside application source, and executed via a distributed architecture of head and factory nodes that can be dynamically scaled. Native first-class support covers message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS/Jakarta EE) and a broad range of databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, TimescaleDB, InfluxDB). A deterministic execution model using correlation IDs, origin markers, and timestamps enables full end-to-end workflow tracing, including off-path verification of downstream side-effects such as queue messages and database records written outside the direct request/response path. Zone-based geographic load segmentation exposes regional latency differences, while live monitoring is available through an in-process console and an interactive time-series GUI, with metrics streamable to Elasticsearch, InfluxDB, Graphite, TimescaleDB, and Kafka. CI/CD integration is available via CLI, REST API, and a Gradle plugin with JUnit report output and build-failure-on-assertion-breach support.
QALIPSIS is available in three editions: a permanently free open-source edition deployable on-premise, in containers, or in the cloud (JAR, ZIP, or Docker); a licensed on-premise edition adding OAuth2 authentication, head node redundancy, and high-load cluster support with ephemeral factories; and a fully managed cloud edition requiring no infrastructure, with plans spanning individual developers to enterprise teams. An extensible plugin architecture supports custom steps, event loggers, meter registries, and proprietary libraries, and long-running monitoring campaigns can be scheduled immediately, at a future time, or on a recurring basis to track system availability and responsiveness over time.
