RamsBox overview
What is RamsBox?
RamsBox is a UK tool for drafting a risk assessment and method statement (RAMS) for a specific job. It's built for sole traders and small firms who are asked for a RAMS by a principal contractor or client, often at short notice.
You start from a template written for your trade: roofing, electrical, scaffolding, security guarding, plastering, hot works, bricklaying, tiling, or a general template. Then you add the job details: site, dates, operatives, equipment and site-specific hazards. RamsBox drafts a 5x5 risk matrix, hazard register, method statement, pre-start checks, emergency arrangements, legislation list and sign-off sheet as an A4 PDF.
The first watermarked preview is free, with no account or card. A tailored document costs £7.00, or £19.99 a month for unlimited documents (fair use up to 10 a day).
RamsBox drafts documents; it doesn't give health and safety advice. A competent person must review and approve every RAMS before use.
