Redokun overview
What is Redokun?
Marketing and export teams at mid-sized manufacturers translate product catalogues, datasheets, and brochures for their export markets — usually without a dedicated localisation team. Redokun is a cloud-based translation management platform built for that situation.
Upload a document, invite your translators, and track progress from a shared dashboard. Translation Memory and Glossary carry over between projects, so terminology stays consistent and revised documents are partly filled in before a translator opens them. Quick Revisions send translators only what has changed in an updated document, not the whole file. Pre-translate uses DeepL, Google Translate, and ChatGPT to pre-fill segments, included at no extra cost — translators review and confirm rather than translate from scratch.
Redokun is an Adobe Technology Partner and supports InDesign (exported as .idml), Word (.docx), PowerPoint (.pptx), Excel (.xlsx), Illustrator (.ai, .eps, .svg), HTML5 (.html), Subtitles (.srt), plain text (.txt), XLIFF 1.2 (.xliff, .xlf), XML (.xml), and JSON (.json). Files come back in the same format they went in — no copy-pasting, no reformatting.
Redokun is cloud-based, with no software to install and no IT setup. Most teams are translating within an hour of signing up.
Two products are available.
Project Pass is a one-time €95 purchase for a single 30-day project: 5 documents, 2 translator seats, and 30,000 words included.
The Workspace Plan is a subscription for teams that translate regularly, starting at €289 a month (CORE), with GROWTH and SCALE tiers for higher volumes and a custom VOLUME tier above that.
A 14-day free trial of the Workspace Plan is available for teams evaluating Redokun for ongoing use.
