RestaurantOS Pro is a restaurant point-of-sale system engineered around Dominican fiscal law rather than adapted to it after the fact. It is aimed at operators who need every ticket to be a valid fiscal document from the moment it is printed.

Fiscal engine

The system issues NCF and e-CF documents in B01, B02, B14 and B15 sequences, tracks sequence consumption, and blocks issuance when a sequence is exhausted rather than failing silently. ITBIS is computed per line item, not derived from the invoice total, which keeps tax figures consistent when a bill is split, discounted or partially paid. The legally mandated 10 percent service charge is calculated automatically and attributed per employee. Period reports are generated in the DGII 606 and 607 layouts.

Front and back of house

Order entry flows to a digital kitchen display; table service is managed on a visual floor plan; bills can be divided by seat, by item or into equal parts, with each split retaining its own fiscal document. Shift close produces a reconciled cash report covering cash, card and mixed payments.

Architecture and deployment

Installation is local on Windows, with the database on the venue's own machine. The application continues to operate during internet outages and reconciles automatically on reconnection, which matters in markets where connectivity is intermittent. Data is encrypted at rest, backups run automatically, and role-based access controls separate owner, manager and server permissions with an audit trail on sensitive operations such as voids, discounts and table transfers.

Access and support

Runs on desktop and on tablets through the browser. Onboarding is delivered one-on-one and includes DGII configuration. Support is provided in Dominican Spanish over WhatsApp during business hours.
