Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

SecurSSH overview
What is SecurSSH?
SecurSSH is a team oriented SSH access management platform that provides secure collaborative server access for engineering teams while ensuring data residency within the European Union. The platform addresses limitations of personal SSH clients by offering centralized credential management, comprehensive audit capabilities, and real time collaboration features. It targets DevOps teams, security professionals, and distributed engineering organizations that require GDPR compliant infrastructure access solutions and data sovereignty.
The system implements end to end encrypted team vaults using AES Galois Counter Mode encryption with PBKDF2 key derivation performing one hundred thousand iterations so that credentials never leave team devices in cleartext form. Multi vault segmentation allows teams to organize credentials by project, client, or environment with granular membership controls per vault. A three tier role based access control structure comprises admin, member, and viewer roles with instant propagation of role changes across the platform. A live collaborative session viewer enables multiple engineers to join active SSH sessions via invite links in read only or interactive mode across macOS, Windows, and Linux desktop applications. A twenty four month audit log retains every connection event, role modification, vault edit, and invitation on team tier subscriptions and offers unlimited retention on enterprise tier subscriptions.
Native desktop applications run on macOS Intel and Apple Silicon architectures, Windows ten and eleven, and Linux AppImage and deb formats. All applications support SSH and secure file transfer protocols, agent forwarding, smart reconnection, shared snippets, startup actions, and per host environment variables injected as shell exports. A biometric vault locking mechanism integrates Touch ID on macOS and Windows Hello on Windows with configurable auto lock timeouts. The platform operates exclusively on European Union hosted infrastructure with built in data erasure rights and signed Data Processing Agreements for team and enterprise customers. SOC Type two certification is anticipated in the second half of twenty twenty six. The standalone SSH access layer builds on OpenSSH foundations and operates without modification of existing server infrastructure.
