Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Tabsdata overview
What is Tabsdata?
Tabsdata is an agentic data engineering platform that unifies AI agent capabilities and data infrastructure into a single system, deployable on cloud, hybrid, or fully on-premises environments, including inside a customer's own network or VPC. Designed for enterprise data teams — data leaders, platform engineers, and data engineers — Tabsdata resolves data requests from discovery through build, validation, and regression testing in hours rather than months. A declarative Pub/Sub for Tables execution model drives the core architecture: when upstream tables are published, all downstream dependent transformations execute automatically in dependency order, with no DAGs, schedulers, streaming orchestration, or manual workflow wiring required. Kubernetes-native execution is available from version 2.0, and the platform installs via pip without requiring migration away from existing warehouses or orchestration tools. It delivers governed, versioned tables into existing environments including Snowflake, Databricks, GCP, AWS, and Azure.
Tabsdata's architecture treats governance, lineage, and auditability as structural properties rather than optional add-ons. Every function run produces a new immutable table version stored alongside all prior versions, supporting time travel, reproducibility, and rollback. Lineage and provenance are recorded as a byproduct of execution, not reconstructed after the fact. Every intermediate build step is materialized as an inspectable versioned table before propagation, and built-in data quality checks run automatically with each new version. Role-based access control, full audit logging, and human approval requirements on every change are included across all deployment tiers. Pricing is infrastructure-based per 8-core deployment unit with no data volume overage fees, and the full platform is available free for self-supported deployments.
AI and ML workloads are served through several integrated capabilities. A built-in AI agent named Tabby interacts with the Tabsdata server via natural language to list collections, tables, and functions; access schemas and sample data; register functions; create publishers, subscribers, and transformers; and trigger or cancel executions. A living semantic catalog uses LLM-driven analysis to automatically classify metadata for every connected source and destination at connection time, making prior work discoverable for future requests without manual curation. A built-in Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server, backed by a skills library and vector database, allows external agents such as Claude and Codex to create collections, generate and register functions, configure connections, and trigger executions with full context of every table, version, dependency, and definition in the system. Training and inference consume the same deterministic, versioned data path, eliminating training-serving drift and supporting exact experiment reproduction via time travel. Tabsdata serves organizations across financial services, ecommerce, IoT, manufacturing, logistics, and healthcare verticals.
