The Halo System overview

What is The Halo System?

The Halo System is a cloud-based, all-in-one incident and risk management platform built for control rooms, security teams, and safety leaders across a wide range of sectors, including Events and Festivals, Sports Stadia, Venues and Arenas, Universities and Colleges, Retail, Transport Hubs, Security and Facilities Service Providers, and Government and Local Authorities. The platform covers the full incident lifecycle: pre-event planning, proactive risk management, live incident response, task coordination, and post-event reporting, all recorded in a single secure environment. It replaces fragmented paper-based processes and disconnected messaging tools with one customisable platform that supports data-backed decision making. Free access is available for small-capacity organisations, making it accessible across organisations of varying sizes, from major venues to small charities.

The Halo System is accessible via a mobile app (HaloApp) and a web-based dashboard (HaloDashboard), with a central management and customisation tool (HaloHub) supporting both desktop and mobile access for control room and frontline staff. The core system includes incident management, task management, team management, and location management. Modular add-ons extend functionality: HaloControl delivers real-time incident management; HaloTaskManager handles planned and ad hoc task scheduling; HaloEngage supports public reporting and two-way SMS communication; HaloLocate provides mapping, geo-fencing, and location tracking; HaloFusion enables multi-dashboard mode for multi-site or multi-team operations; and HaloInsights delivers advanced analytics and reporting. Additional capabilities include multimedia evidence capture (CCTV, body-worn camera, photos, audio, and witness statements), drone stream integration for aerial oversight, custom incident types and reporting forms, automated recurring tasks, linked tasks and incidents, one-click downloadable reports, timestamped and user-stamped audit logs, geolocation with automated pin drop, pre-defined playbooks and standard operating procedures, live messaging and push notifications, and a document library.

The Halo System also incorporates an AI-powered crowd management module that monitors crowd density, flow, sentiment, mood, and capacity. Drone stream integration provides live aerial views to identify crowd hotspots and support tactical decisions. The platform is designed to integrate with external AI systems, including AI computer vision layers over CCTV feeds, with human confirmation required before automated alerts are escalated to response teams. Timestamped, user-stamped audit trails produce defensible evidence for regulators, insurers, and inquiries, while advanced analytics surface trends and recurring issues to support resource allocation and risk planning. The platform has received over 14 industry awards, including the Kings Award for Enterprise in Innovation.
